I became a caregiver in the 90's .i was raised with no grandparents. Also my mom & older sister were private caregivers i went to work with mom and watch her compassion for them . Today my daugther is a nurse showing the same compassion we all did while she was growing up. I care for them as i would like my family or grandparents cared for with lots of love , compassion & understanding ....

What makes me a great caregiver is that I do it from my heart it takes a very strong and loving, dedicated individual to be a caregiver. What made me become a caregiver is at the age of 17yrs, old I lost my father due to seroises of the liver and treating him for cancer I watched my father pass away I felt so helpless and said to myself that when I grew up I would help people and take care of them. I have been in a certified healthcare profesional for over 16 years.
