What attracted to you being a caregiver? I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I like older adults and feel you can get along well with a variety of elders.

What makes me a great caregiver Iam very observant and attentive I love working with people. I like to learn new things and I am very helpful. I have been a caregiver for my step dad who has passed on and I work for a company in gainesville, florida for a short time where I worked with a young lady for 12 hrs and an elderly lady that was in a wheelchair where I had to make lunch or dinner sometime breakfast, help keep the house clean, help with bathing and I was also there companion

In my 6 yrs. of health care, I have transported, taught & trained mentally challenged Consumers their Basic Academic & Living skills in ADT. Which was very rewarding to see their expressions when they achieved a skill. l've lived in home with 6 Residents and performed total care, assist them in dressing, bathing and prepare their meals, while making sure their living Facilities were cleaned and organized. I was also certified to give them Medications. I also have experience in Elderly Care working in Memory Care. On May 23, 2022, I became a CNA.

First and foremost I am a God-fearing woman. I have patience, I am dependable and trustworthy. I have empathy and compassion for others. I want my clients to know that they are genuinely cared about and I want to help in any way possible. Helping others, seeing them smile, and doing all I can to make them happy warms my heart. I became a caregiver because i wanted to help others to help themselves and because I enjoy knowing that I can make a difference in someones life. I have 3 beautiful children ages 23, 17, and 14 2 boys and a girl she is the youngest I love working with others and don't mind working hard I would not change what i do for anything I love the challenge of being able to change things around for people when most people might think that it is a waste of time I believe that any and everything is possible if you work hard enough for it.

I have worked at several assisted living facilities and a couple home care agencies. My last employment was at a facility just for Alzheimer's and Dementia patients. I'm passionate,caring,loving,with a great sense of humor and understanding especially when taking care of a elderly. I enjoy taking care of elderly. I took care of my father for over 10 years until he passed away in 2014 of the age of 100. So I know how hard and sometime difficult for a family to take care of a loved one especially when they have Alzheimer's or Dementia. I have worked in the school district as substitute teacher for four years. Before that I worked as a private Nanny who also did home care work with other family members in the households. I have worked a lot with children with disabilities as a home care giver and as a para professional in the school district. I ran errands, planned schedules, answered phones, took kids to and from activities, and provided meals, helped with toilet training, and bath time. I have also worked with older family members which has always been enjoyable for me. I would drive them to and from where they needed to go, help with groceries, give them medication, laundry, assisted with feedings and other needed things around the house.
