My grandparents, as well as my great-grandparents, made a very strong impression on me. I enjoyed spending time with all of them in the summer. Goodness, kindness, and unconditional love from my sweet relatives taught me to be loving, caring, and considerate of my elders. After doing volunteer work at nursing homes, I really felt this was my special 'calling'. Now, I enjoy each and every day, learning from the elderly people that are in my care. I have been driving to Atlanta and Marietta for the past 4 years, as well as Woodstock and Canton. Distance is not an issue for me. Hope to hear from you soon!!
I am a very empathetic and passionate person when it comes to taking care of others. I love my job as a nurse, but just need some extra hours. I enjoy keeping my patients company and also helping with daily activities. I also am willing to stay overnight. I have an 11 year old son, but he can stay with my parents any time that I am working. I come from a great family and I am very family oriented.
I am very responsible, very patient, very loving , caring and so passionate in helping individuals. Naturally i love caring for individuals, for example when my Granny was ill, I solely took care of her before she past on. Seeing them happy and regaining their self esteem. I'm proud to be a part of their family and make them smile.
I have been a Caregiver in a variety of situation for 6+ years and each family I worked for called me a "member of the family"! What makes me a great caregiver? I'm extremely attentive, patient, have a calming effect on people, am trustworthy, an excellent listener and willing to work with each individual's specific needs. I became a caregiver when my father was recovering from lung cancer & had knee surgery. He required extensive care regarding mobility, physical therapy, meal planning/nutrition, prescription management, & hygiene. Additionally, he needed to know that someone really cared about him & the progress he was making. I am a very positive person with an optimistic outlook on life! I believe this is instrumental is helping one recover from any condition, physically, mentally or emotionally. I had an extensive career as a Director in Human Resources in my corporate career, where many of my transferable skills are utilized in providing care for individuals. I'm passionate about working with seniors, as I have been all of my life. I have a heart for those who need care, may be lonely, or are in transition from home or family. I love seeing changes in the lives of others when I attend to them with their very specific needs. I'm adaptable, easy to talk to & get people talking, so they begin to feel a connection with others, rather than isolated or alone. I've provided care to my grandfather, whose life was transitioning painfully with bone cancer. One of my greatest achievements was to see his pain managed not only through medication, but listening to him recall his life's stories, reading to him his favorite, National Geographic, & providing him with all the personal touches that alleviated the inevitable suffering that comes with this type of cancer. I am certified in CPR, First Aid, AED, and BLS. I will care for your loved one just as I would one of my own parents, with understanding, being present and available for whatever they need.
What makes me a great caregiver is that I am dedicated to whatever I do. I feel very peaceful within myself, when I can make my patients/clients and their family pleased. I have 23 years of experience in the medical field. I achieved a certification as a NurseTechnician/CNA and is currently enrolled in the University of North Georgia to pursue a BSN in nursing, because nursing is a passion for me. I enjoy very much to help all people, expecially the elderly. I am very proud that I can be a part of a team that cares to see people enjoy a healthy life, and if they cannot stay healthy as they would like to be, that we care for them in the best way possible. I took care of my grandmother until she took her last breath, and that motivated me to care for others the same. She gave me her blessings before and that made me proud to continue.

Everyone needs companionship, and all of us need a helping hand every now and again. Unfortunately, these needs are often heightened for elderly adults. Many seniors struggle with elderly isolation, a condition that is strongly linked with poor emotional and physical health. Other seniors have to cope with age-related difficulties, which make it hard to perform everyday tasks and activities. I offer companion care services that provide the social interaction and helping hand many seniors need to live happily and comfortably at home. Companion care is perfect for elderly adults who live alone or far from family, providing the company, conversation, and security of a dedicated care companion. These services can also be a lifeline for seniors who no longer have the energy, motivation, or physical well-being to live comfortably without assistance. Seniors aren't the only ones whose lives are improved by this type of care. Family caregivers can find respite, relief, and peace of mind by hiring a care companion!
I became a caregiver completely by accident because a lady I knew needed someone to care for her Mom and I was available. I realized that I was very good at it. I love helping people that cannot help themselves. I helped a lady that had PSP, a form of Parkinsons, that was the first time that I had fed, clothed, bathed and changed underwear on an adult. Helping her was so absolutely rewarding. I made her's and her daughter's life a lot easier. I am a CNA, 57 years of age, 2 adult daughters, 2 grandchildren. I am a non-smoker, very compassionate, caring and intelligent. I love to read, sew, do crafts and watch football.
My name is Stephanie Jackson. I live in Cumming, Ga with my husband and three children. I have always wanted to be in the field of healthcare and medicine and after 23 years in the automotive business, decided to go back to school and work towards being an RN. I started at Brenau University in the BSN program in the fall of 2015. In February of 2018, I resigned from my job and took a CNA course in March which I completed. I became a certified nursing assistant by the state of GA in April 2018. I also have certifications in BLS and CPR. I am currently employed full time at a hospital but am looking for part-time work to fill in my schedule. I love to help people and I find caring for those in need to be fulfilling and rewarding .
