I have always been an old spirit even at a young age. I enjoy all people young and old. When I first moved down to Florida I volunteered at Hospice of Northeast Florida. It was very gratifying. I am also a licensed Foster parent and have been for six years. I have always been a caregiver my whole life from babysitting at a young age to taking care of elders throughout my life. Helping others in need.

What I like about being a Caregiver is the diversity of my clients, everyone has a different story and background. I love to listen about their lives, accomplishments, family and loved ones. It's like watching a Classic tale of another time and these stories become part of my life, parts not to be forgotten. I love to put not only my heart into my work, but my sensitivity, compassion, laughter,attentiveness and honest character as well. I have worked with some challenging cases like Alzheimer's, Cancer patient's, Stroke patient's and other types of illnesses. I am thankful for the opportunity to have worked with and known my patient's, not just as patient's, but we became friends as well, and I was there when they needed me. I have been a CNA/Home Health Aid for several years, currently my license is inactive, but I still retain all the skills necessary to perform an outstanding job for you. I love to be a Caregiver and am thankful The Lord allowed such experiences in my life. I am also thankful that you have the chance to know alittle about myself now, and I'd like you to feel assured that I will do my upmost in all aspects of your care. I am a very compassionate person that truly enjoys taking care of people. I became a CNA to be apart of a team that helps Patients and residents get the best care they deserve and to help in the healing process in whatever way I can. I have worked with the elderly in home and in a hospital setting. I have also worked in a pediatric emergency room and an adult emergency room. I find it extremely rewarding to bring a smile to someone's face that are in a health situation when they feel as if everything is going wrong. I love to give hope even in the worse of situations. My personal achievement that I am proud of is when a patient leaves the hospital and gives me a big hug and thanks me profusely is the best feeling in the world.

I am a mother of 3 and a grandmother and i think this has equipped me with the skills needed to provide care to the elderly because as the saying goes "once a man twice a child". I believe I am very qualified to carry out all the duties and skills required of me and I throughly enjoy being a caregiver.

I became a caregiver almost 3 years ago after caring for my mother with Huntington's, and my sister with spina bifida. I love being a caregiver and helping others when needed.. whether r be adls, just chatting or whatever.
