My name is Rose I have been in the industry for over 35 years I have three children , I believe my caregiving services is a call since I was a little girl I always dream to help others and taking care of them make them feels the importance of living and belong to this earth I treated them like my own family and give them all the love and respect they deserve that's what I said I have a call and I want the same treatment when I am in a position to get care for myself when I am getting older.

I become interested in caregiving after after I started taking care of my Aunt with a stroke. I saw how much joy it brought her, to know that she had someone who cared for her and was willing to help with whatever she needed. It was a very challenging experience at first. I had to learn how to be patient and problem solving very quickly. I knew I made a difference in my Aunt life, and I would love to do the same for others. I made a enormous difference in a person life. I got to be part of a new family and share a long life story with them.

I love to help people. I like showing people they have someone who truly cares for them. seeing them smile at the little in life brings joy to my heart and soul. I think I would have to say I enjoy listening to their stories about the good ole days. My proud achievement would be making sure they are as happy as I am to be there with them.

I became a caregiver because I had always wanted to be a nurse when I was younger. Also, my best friend/sister-in-law became very ill at an early age and I had wanted to take care of her but never got the chance as she passed away at age 44. My mom also became ill shortly thereafter and I promised that she would never go to a nursing home. My intention was to care for her in my home, but unfortunately she never made it home from the hospital. I vowed that if I could not help my own family then I would help someone else. I love being able to help people stay in their homes as long as possible and having the family reassured that their loved ones are being cared for in their absence. My personal achievements that I am proud of are being with two of my clients until the end of their life and knowing that I made things a bit easier for their families. As for myself, I am the mother of four sons and grew up with five older brothers.

What makes me a great caregiver is being empathetic and sympathetic. One has to have compassion and understanding to work with patients and and the elderly. I have patience and tolerance which is also a necessary trait to understand what a person is going through. I am very reliable, dependable, trustworthy and take pride in my work as a Nursing Assistant. I have over 15 years experience working with the elderly and would not trade it. It makes me happy when i can naturally care for my patient and make them happy and comfortable. I do enjoy my job as a caregiver and working to the best of my ability. I am never complete unless my patients are happy and content. I really do enjoy this position and will continue to go further in this field.
