My name is Ashlyn I am and I have been a cna for over a year. I am cpr and first aide certified. I I have dealt with many elderly people with all kinds of health issues. I love to learn new things and meet new people. I love being able to help people in anyway possible. I need a job that does not require long time of seating or doing nothing. I do not like not doing anything.
I have been a CNA for 6 years with experience in all different areas. I am compassionate, loveavle, and caring. I always treat my patients/clients as top priority. I became a caregiver because I've always wanted to help others. Especially when my grandma got diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease it made me want to work with patients with that disease even more. I enjoy seeing my patients/clients feel like they have accomplished a goal or a step towards their goals. I also like making them feel like someone cares for them and has their best interest at heart. I am proud to have the amount of years of experie ce that I have, and I am proud to know that most of my patients from previous companies still compliment my work.
I'm a small town country girl, who has always had an interest in health care. While in high school, I volunteered at hospitals and nursing homes. After high school I continued on to Bennett College and studied Biology for about a year. Shortly After returning home I received a job with a home health care facility. Being a nurse has always been the career for me. I'm currently employed part time with ResCare and attending the CNA program, upon completion I intend on going back to school to become a RN (registered nurse).
I became an caregiver because i wanted to give back to my community by helping those who are not capable or families that are in need of care. Someone has came into my families life to help my own family at one point when we needed care for my aunt and granny. With assisting with the caregivers I learned that it was my calling. I enjoy and love what I do as being helpful to some difficult situations. My personality fits this type of work due to me being able to connect with love ones or their families by giving companionship and being sincere with my work. Just being able to come into someone(s) life to help a loved one to get care for in the comfort in their own home. Always try to make sure the loved one is comfortable but most importantly they are getting the care they need.
Hi, My name is Terika...I have worked as a CNA in the past and recently as a Personal Care Assistant/Caregiver fulfilling the same type duties of activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, meal prep, laundry, breaking, infection control, vital signs, keeping in safe environment, etc in the nursing home, assisted living, and home healthcare setting...I am a very compassionate, respectful, and trustworthy caregiver and person in general....I enjoy the daily interaction between me and the person receiving care because not only do I play a major part and make a difference in their life but they make a difference in mine....I am proud to say that what I do is not a skillset some just do for pay but I actually have a kind, caring heart to do what I do...I am actually someone who cares about a client/resident and believes in being the best caregiver companion that I can be, not just an employee doing work but truly doing what I enjoy...I am very patient and kind, and I do all things related to care in home including housekeeping, meal prep, as well as care of the client....I would be happy and overjoyed to be of assistance to a family in need of care for their loved one....
I have always loved working with people and people have always taken to me nicely. I am currently in nursing school for my BSN because I want to be able to help people more. I smile a lot and people tell me that my smile makes them feel better. I have been exposed to people with all types of conditions and I have seen a lot.
I absolutely love being a caregiver and truly believe that some people were born to be caregivers, nurses and be in the medical field and I am one of those people. I have been a CNA for 11 years, I currently work in hospice and I love being able to care for and help people through the most difficult stage of their life. Some people are ready and have come to grips with knowing that they only have a short period of time to live, depending on their diagnosis but others can take the news very hard and act out in ways that people normally wouldn't. Most of the times we see that the people we take care of tend to take it out on their loved ones and it takes a toll on the whole family, I personally think a good caregiver can be there for that patient and help them through and help them with their personal needs but more importantly their emotional needs and comfort them. You have to be a strong, loving and caring person to have that "special" touch and love to be a caregiver and I give 100% as a caregiver. I am 31 yrs old, engaged to the love of my life, don't have kids at this time but our 5 yr old Black Lab can be considered our baby for now lol
I believe I could be your best caregiver, I will treat your loved one with the same love and care I would want for my own mother. I have years of experience I'm a certified medical assistant. I have plenty of references from clients and personal references too. Give me a chance to show you how great it feels to have your loved one cared for by me. I want to be a caregiver and soon a CNA (I finish my class in August 15,2014) One because I love caring for people and I believe that the only difference between myself and my patient is which side of the sheet I am on. I believe all patients deserve quality care and their needs met personally, emotionally and medically. I am currently enrolled in EMT/Paramedic course to finish in Nov 2015. I am able to work most days with exception to my class day. If you are willing to discuss this please contact me I only have class every 3 days from 9-3. ALSO I AM AWAITING BACKGROUND CHECK HERE WHICH SHOULD BE FINISHED IN 3 DAYS OR SO.

I became a caregiver back in 2009 because my grandmother was diagnosed with alztemers and I stepped in and took very good care of her. During that time I loved the experience of helping others that cant do for themselves, especially when it was my grandmother who I was helping. my personal achievements where knowing that I took very good care of my grandmother up until she passed away in 2012 she was my everything and knowing I did my job to the best of my ability make me so proud and after that I wanted the opportunity to help others and there love ones cause I know how it feel to have a love one that was sick and couldn't do for themselves.
I am a great caregiver because I like to bond with my patients and help them to feel as comfortable as possible. I make sure the environment around them is always safe for them. I do not neglect my patients at all and I do my best to meet every need they may have. The elderly deserve respect and to be taken care of because they have been caring for people their whole lives so I like to help them as much as possible and I like to treat them as if they are my own family. Helping people in every way possible is my goal.
