I love giving companionship to them make them feel like the love and they have a friend here. The reason I became a caregiver is I got into a car accident and I had somebody take care of me so when I got better at decide it to take care of people and I love doing it. I really love taking care elderly people or children or anybody who needs my help it makes me feel that Im wanted and that I'm here to help others.
I became a CNA about 4 years ago, I love to provide care for others because its in my passion, I feel as if in life the more good you do the more blessings will come to you. I have aaccomplished a lot of things in life, I am currently in school, when I became a CNA that was a sense of accomplishment, also when I became a medication aide, that was another accomplishment. Most importantly I was a teen mom and me being able to complete school was a major accomplishment. Something about myself, in one word I like to describe me as a very caring person.
High School Teacher Linguist ( fluent: Serbian, Bosnian, Slovenian, Italian, Russian, English)for 22 years, and after that a C N A - very rewarding and inspiring. Teenagers and our Seniors are having in common 1 important mutual need - to be listened to. And I am a good listener. Patient, observing. An excellent cook too. Proud of my referrals, glad to share it with my new employer...positive approach and good energy are in my eyes. I`m compassionate, tender, yet punctual, professional.. And as a good Christian, I like to think: my good deeds are there somewhere written, will be remembered when I become that old to need someone`s help, care, nurturing.
