I am very friendly and patient I have a lot of empathy for the patients. I understand as caregivers you must treat everyone with respect. I would like the patients to know I am here to put them first to take care their needs first. My father is one of the reason I got so interesting In being a care giver. I took care of him and I knew how I wanted him to be treated. I want to lend a genuine hand to a patient . I want to establish trusted relationships with the patient. I want to give genuine support and reassurance to the the patient. I want the patient to know I am safe. I enjoyed the most about being caregiver before I leave I have taken care of their personal needs and I hope I can help with making them smile . I finish school as medical assistance and I able to take what I have learned and apply to the needs to others and the patient or client I am caring for .

I became a caregiver because I knew when I was 10 years old this is what I wanted to do, my mom had to have a major stomach surgery and her incision got infected so the home health nurse came to the out everyday to repack and clean the wound out, I would help the nurse bloody gauze and nasty stuff everywhere but it didn't gross me out, I make an amazing caregiver because I always put myself in a different pair of shoes , what if it was my mother, father, or grandparent? How would I want them to be treated? I am very proud of myself for having that mentality. I thrive off of making my clients/patients smile every single day.

My selflessness and patience is what makes me a great caregiver. My clients love that I am easy to confide inz. They also appreciate my always willing to help attitude. I decided to become a caregiver to gain experience on caring for other before I become a registered nurse. I feel that having a caring nature is very important in the healthcare field and becoming a caregiver is a great way to master that skill. I love being able to help those that aren't able to help themselves anymore. It's such a humbling experience to help others with tasks that are often taken for granted.

On top of giving quality care, you have to be compassionate. I am the one to listen to the person when they are upset or want to tell you a story from their past. I like to hear their concerns about life. I come from a large family and we all took care of each other. Besides helping others, I enjoy learning about someone's past. I like to know that families consider me a confidante and a friend long after I am done working.

I love taking care of others, I believe you do on to others as you want done to you. I love knowing that the patient is getting the best care possible because I give 100 %. I'm proud that I have learned many new things in this last 16years of being a cna. I'm very dedicated to my patients and clients, I'm outgoing and willing to learn new things.
