Hello, my name is Melba! My experience with caregiving started the year of 2010. I started caring seniors to make a difference in their lives. For people with high levels of care needed, my support in invaluable. Treating them with attentive, proper, and respectful care is a significant role to ensure they retain their dignity and independence during the latter stages of life. For me, helping seniors and others is a great accomplishment and feels highly rewarding, knowing that I could turn a unbearable day into a great one. Caregiving taught me knowledge from listening to experiences and stories one might gladly share. Memories are priceless and can give a wonderful insight and transport you to a time from a person's different perspective. To me, having that kind of opportunity gives life more meaning. I Am Trustworthy And Dependable Love My Ministry Comforting Others While Helping And Caring For Others Not Knowing That I Would Be Taking Care Of My Husband Who Was Diagnose With Bone Cancer I Was His Hospice CNA For All Most Two Years At Home He Was Grateful That I Had The Experience And So Was I This Is Truly A Gift From God To Be Able To Meet And Work With So Many Wonderful People I Also Have References To Prove My History Of Work I Have Been In The Field As A C.N.A For 32 yrs. And I Am Glad To Say I Am Not Burn Out Or Tired Of My Ministry Caring For Others. It Was Truly A Honor To Be My Husband Personal Hospice C.N.A Before He Passed I Often Would Hear Him Telling Family Members And Friends How He Was Proud And Glad He To Have Me As His Care Giver Knowing What To Do For Him And Making It Easy For Him To Be Home Also Northwestern Hospice Register Nurse Along With Their Team Was Very Please With The Care For My Husband That I Was Able To Give Him It Was A Joy Full Of Precious Memories My Experience Is Working Hospital, Nursing Home, Private Duty, Live In-Live Out,Hospice, Setter Cases 32yrs Of Service.

It has been my privilege to lovingly care for elderly people with dementia, starting with my mother-in-law. I enjoy entering their world and showing them the dignity, respect and gentle care our elders should have. I have become the trusted companion of each person I’ve cared for, and have served several of them for years at a time. Support for the family of the person I am companion to is a special part of my ministry. I am currently a part-time seminary student and simply love people. My desire is to bring joy and wisdom in caregiving to those I serve.
