I started working in a nursing home when I was 17 years old, and in 2012 I wanted to do more for the elderly, so I became a live- in caregiver so my clients could be in the comfort of their own home. I am a mother of 3 children (& multiple God children) and a grandma of 6 (as well as multiple God Grandkids!) I always have a house full of kids! I worked in the healthcare field for years. I love working with children as well as elderly and disabled people. I have worked in Nursing homes, group homes, hospitals, and State facilities taking care of children, elderly people as well Developmentally Disabled and Mentally I'll individuals. I am a people person and love to work with people! I am very dependable and I am a very fast learner. I listen to the needs and concerns of the individual(s) that I am taking care of (working for) and I try to take care of everything asked of me. I address concerns immediately and try to resolve them (or ease them) to the best of my ability! I love to have fun. I am a home body, I don't party. I am excellent with children and children seem to really like me. I can cook, clean, give medicine if needed, swim, go to the park, take children to extra curricular activities, give baths, and put to bed with a bedtime story if that's what needed. I've done it all!!

I rescue reptiles on the side and have been able to help and turn some into companion pets and get to come with me to the places I work before and the residents have seemed to love it, it's cool to take something kinda unordinary and turn it into something positive they can learn about, that's out of their norm and they seem to like it, I've helped quite a few seniors through this line of work, which is funny to me they always tell me how much I help them, cuz in reality they are the ones that help me, and keep me humble and kind, and fulfill a empty part of me I never knew I have!

The reason I became a Caregiver is because my Mother had a Stroke in 2003 and I started taking care of her from then till she Passed Away in 2018. I know what people are going through on a Personal Level. I have taken care of Other Individuals BOTH through DORS & Private Care from 2005 & Still am.

I enjoy being a caregiver. I was raised by a nurse and I took care of my Grandmother for three years before I started working in healthcare as a residents aid. I love helping people in general. Achievements would be going above and beyond for my residents.
