I am a very selfless person, I am motivated to better the lives and improve the lives of other individuals. I am furthering my education to become a nurse but I have experience as an HHA and a Direct Support Professional. I am most proud of my completion of my Bachelors degree in Community Health. I am not a fan of cats but I do love dogs.

Patience : especially when dealing with the elderly, it is essential for a caregiver to be patient because some of the consumers might not know what they are doing and some needed more time to understand informations . Honest Trustworthiness Compassion Attentiveness . What attracted you to being a caregiver? Being reliable, arriving for work on time and fulfilling all duties in a timely manner. Respecting my patients' privacy and dignity. Exhibiting a positive demeanor and kind tone of voice. Being considerate and kind when working with the patient. What do you enjoy most about being a caregiver? Putting a smile on my patients face when they achieve their daily goals What is a personal achievement you are proud of? A moment of recognition from a loved one with dementia, a heartfelt "thank you"

I am a great caregiver because I love making people smile, I want to make sure that you are comfortable and feel safe with me. I love being a caregiver! What lead me to know that I was made to be one? Well my grandma was really sick when I was little and I wish I could've taken care of her how she needed to be. I am so loving and I love helping people that need or want it.

I have experience working as a CNA/HHA for the last 13 years. I consider myself reliable, helpful, caring, and passionate. I also have some college credits for general studies towards my RN degree. I have been rewarded employee of the month and recommendation letters from the families of past patients I have cared for.

I have a lifetime comment for caring for others. I have over 20 years of experience, and still love what I do. I have empathy and compassion for the elderly. The people I care for know and trust that I care for them. I'm a Certified Nurses Aide & a Certified Home Health aide as well. My greatest accomplishment is my 2 grown professional sons but they have spread their wings and now I'm ready for my next journey.
