God has given each of us an amazing trait. I believe mine is caregiving. I have had a lot of experience with hospice. Hospice has shown me many different types of people and how their disease can effect them. My time in the hospital setting gave me a lot of advancement in treatment styles. I'm a trustworthy and dependable person who thrives on one on one time with a patient. My caring heart shines though on every client I have ever had. I became a CNA because one day I hope to achieve my goal in becoming a Registered Nurse. The one thing I love about being a caregiver is that I get to help people who cannot help themselves any longer. There is just something about it that makes me feel amazing at my job! I'm proud of myself for being able to do this job as a caregiver because not a lot of people can handle all of the work and some of the stress (emotion & physical) that come with the job as a caregiver. I'm 24 years old. I've been a CNA for 3 1/2 years and I've loved every day of it! I have 2 children that I raise daily to be responsible adults one day. My family is everything to me & so is my job!

1. I became a caregiver because at the age of 7 my father needed caregivers. I saw how much they helped my family and wanted to help others families as well. 2. I love seeing how happy I make my patient by little things. I love being able to help someone in need. 3. I have worked my way up from doing fast food to being able to be a CNA all while in high school. I then worked full time as a CNA my senior year of high school as well as finished high school with a 3.0. 4. I am currently attending Ivy Tech Community College to pursue a degree in Health Care Support. I absolutely love the medical field.
