what make me a great caregiver, is my ability to have patiece and to try to understand the needs of the individual and try my best to help them accomplish their goals. I became a caregiver to assist those individuals, with disabilities to achieve their individual goals and responsibilities . What I like about being a caregiver, is to be able to come into an individual 's home assist the individual with whatever their needs they may have to undertake and we accomplish their task together. one of my personal achievements, was when the individual that I was working with with couldn't remember staff's names but always call them friend. He would make reference to staff members as the title Friend. I began to work on that goal with him and through repeatious actions he started to repeat the staffs names and remembered them. That goal accomplishment, made the individual happy and also staff.

I have 22 years experience in healthcare. I'm reliable and compassionate. I love making the sick feel comfortable in a home setting. I enjoy putting a smile on a persons face by making them feel alive, by the care I do. Im a nationally certified phlebotomist also. I am also CPR certified, im a CNA/HHA .

Caregiving in any fashion is the instant gratification, the paycheck is the bonus, as well as seeing the progress and making a new friend along the way. I love how every day is different!
