I have been a caregiver for 15+ years fresh out of high school. I became a cargiver because my grandmother had took ill and developed dementia. My family and I took alot of time to care for her in the comfort of her own home until she departed in 2009. I knew that i wanted to be a caregiver because caring for people is my life I enjoy being able to put others and meet their needs before my own. Am a very compassionate person good listener even when i was a child there was something that drove me to Elder people and the sick it didn't matter rather old or young. My heart was there i do whatever i could to help. I lose my grandma to cancer. I was very young i remember standing by her bed when i was a child watching over her running out to catch my school bus with tears in my eyes peoples like doing different thing. I'm a very loving caring, compassionate friendly, outgoing, hard working and quick learner. I've been doing care giving basically my whole life. I was raised with my morther an grandparents so it all came very naturally. From dealing with my grandmom epilepsy are my Papa Parkison in dementia I learned very quick what to do and what not at very young age. My motto is you treat others the way you won't to be treated.
