I have currently been off work for approximately one year and a half, after the birth of my daughter and I am looking to get back into what I know best without the long hospital hours. I've been a caregiver for over 20 yrs. I started at 19 yrs old, I'm now 43. What influenced me of caring for ppl is just the fact that I'm a natural born caregiver. I love taking care of the elderly and also the disabled. I don't look for an award for this, my reward is feeling good about being able too meet someone else's need. I treat each and everyone of the ppl that I have cared for as if they where my family members. I've never taken care of anyone that hasn't growed too love me and I feel the same for them. I love to help people and thats why about 3 years ago i decided to start working as a CNA. I worked at the medical center of Scottsville for about 2 years and currently have been working as a in home care giver. Im passionate about what i do and really enjoy being in a line of work where i really feel I'm helping others.
