I have a good personality, I work well with people, and I have been a GNA and CNA for over 30 years. I have worked in a total of 5 nursing homes and one hospital, and have also worked as a private caregiver, so I am very experienced in the nursing field.

I am a great caregiver because I have the skills, knowledge and experience to perform the job assigned to me with great dignity and respect. I became a caregiver because I like taking care of elderly people with all their activities of daily living. I like being a caregiver because whatever I do and wherever I go my clients are always proud of me and happy with me. I always say to myself, it is not how you do it, but how they want it to be done. At the end of the day, I am happy when I do a great job and receive compliments from my coworkers, residents, and patients.

As a job seeker healthcare offered more opportunities; and gave me the chance to exercise the empathy in me for seniors and the elders.skills and feelings i acquired when i took care of my late Dad in hospital then my late mom who died at 101years. As a certified nursing assistant and a geriatric nursing assistant(CNA/GNA),I have 6years of experience as a caregiver.i am proud to blend experience and empathy to give care. i am knowledgeable,coachable,licensed home health aide(HHA),experienced recreational/activities therapist fluent in English,French,and Spanish,not to forget Broken English(Pidgin English).i am initially a degree holder(B.A(Hons)) professional teacher;(18years experience).i am married and we are blessed with 2girls,2boys.

I become a caregiver because at a very young age i remember always playing Doctor with my siblings and i grew with it. helping people feel better about themselves is very important. what i like about being a care giver is that is gives me the opportunity to contribute to the well being of individuals, being there to help them in their difficult times gives my fufilment. i remember i had a case in laurel to cater for a client. i did my job so well that the family totally trusted with their mother, and they were out of country close a year. that gave me much joy. I am a people person, i love to learn more about different client and their cultures. when i help my cleint feel better regardless of what they are going through i become soo excited. im a fast learner. i have my own car, i drive, and i have been doing this for about 5 years it can only get better. when given the opportunity i try not to disappoint.

Being a care giver makes me proud since I know that I contribute to making peoples lives better and giving back to the community. 3. I became a caregiver after watching my mother care for her uncle in our home. I like this job because I am helping those who can no longer help themselves . My personal achievement by caring for other when it was time to care my parent I was up for the task. I am not saying it was easy but I did best . My parents are no longer here. I gave back to them what they had given to me . Our parent take care of us then sometimes we have to take care them.

I love helping people, and caring for seniors especially. In my culture we take care our grandparents at home by taking turns. Grandparents are considered as patrons of the family. Every family member gets a chance of taking caring of grand parents. I got a chance to help take care of 2 of my grandparents at our house. I love what I do. Furthermore, at the end of the day after i finish my work I get this intense satisfaction because I have been helping people who all day.

After i lost my parents i discovered that what will make me happy was take care of someones parent like my own and that has fulfilled the gap in me.It makes me happy and complete.Am proud of the job i do because it does play a big role in someones life to know that there is someone who cares about him or her.Am very hardworking person ,loving and very patient.And always go an extra mile for my job.

I became a caregiver, since the time my grammar started getting sick all the time. I like being a caregiver to help elderly that can not do all they want for themselves.
