Hello!! My name is Jasmine Archer!! I took a Home Health Aide class back in 2011, and since then I been in the field or helping other. Through my journey of being a home health aide I experience patients with different health issues like; Dementia, Alzheimer's, a stroke patient, Parkinson's Disease, and Autism!. and through the process I learned how to cater to different health needs. I always have treated my clients with love and respect, and also use encouraging words, because being a Hha takes a lot of patience and understating. When it came to personal needs like grooming, preparing meals, and housekeeping. I always made sure the patient needs was met. My passion and respect for others, is why I know the healthcare field is for me.
I have more than 10 years of experience as a home health aide. I love my job and love taking care of people. I am honest, respectful and a hard worker. I also pride myself on being trustworthy and compassionate. I am willing to learn and improve my skills to provide the best possible care. What I enjoy the most about my line of work is the fact that I get to create special bonds with the people I care for.
With four years of education and training from nursing school -- one year as a Registered School Nurse in the Philippines and more than two years as a Certified Home Care Aide -- I am skilled at providing assistance in daily living and companionship. My compassion, work ethic and attention to detail have measurably improved health-related quality-of-life for each individual that I was entrusted. Moreover, while my experience in the healthcare industry has afforded me a well-rounded skill set, including patient-by-patient management abilities and creating desirable outcomes while working under pressure, I also excel at: - Providing CPR / AED / Adult First Aid - Activities of Daily Living, Perform ROM exercises - Standard Precautions, Safety and Infection Control - Care for the elderly with Dementia and Alzheimer's Disease - Colostomy / Ileostomy Care - Patients who are bedridden, Ventilator Dependent, with O2 Therapy, and Hoyer Lift - Hospice and Palliative Care - Both Medical and Non-Medical Patient Care - Patients with Neuromuscular, Renal, Cardiovascular and Endocrine Diseases

My patience and caring with elder people. I have a compassionate heart. I also like an elderly companion . I have learned a lot about medical matter and patient behavior since I am working as a caregiver . I am proud in my career because most of my patients love me due to my approach to them.
I am respectful, flexible, responsible , trustworthy and have good heart to help people. I like my profession because helping people is my passion. My great personal achievement as homecare aid was that one of my client had a symptom of heart attack and I called 911 immediately even though my client told me that she was fine. As a result, my client was able to survive due to the timely support she got from emergency team.
I am a great companion who likes to encourage my clients independence, along with assist them with the things they can no longer do. I became interested in this field as I watched the demise of both grandmothers and wanted to become someone who could be a part of their transition. I mostly enjoy; acknowledging, that people want to go out with dignity; In Addition, being able to give back in a way that will assist them with that. I have had the esteemed pleasure; to work with some well known families and receive accolades for services rendered. Along with being asked to accompany them; on family vacations. In Addition, I am certified my ID # is HHA5400 and I am certified in Reiki
