I became a caregiver since 1993 when I graduated from a Teachers Training College back in my country Cameroon and started teaching in a kindergarten and middle school respectively for 12 years before travelling to the USA in 2006. I became a caregiver because I have the passion of taking care of children and adults alike. I am a very compassionate person with a flexible, friendly and patient character. I love making people happy and comfortable wherever I am. Being a caregiver has made me learn a lot about life and the way different people behave and interact with others. If I am in an environment that does not need noise I am comfortable, if in another that is noisy I am still comfortable. Have learnt to adapt and move according to what environment I find myself with love and care as much as I can give. I have worked with many people with dementia, diabetes, high blood pressure, stroke etc. I did my best to care for them, tolerating and being patient. So I achieved patience and tolerance which is still helping me now when I have to give care.

I became a caregiver about 20+ years ago after raising my family. My brother was born with a disability and I seen how gentle and loving my mother was with him. I am proud to say I inherited her passion and caring heart. That is mainly why I chose to become a caregiver so I can give back. I am COVID vaccinated I am honest, reliable and dependable.

Certified Med Tech, Bond Insured. I am a very dependable, trustworthy, honest, energetic patient and caring person. I get great satisfaction out of helping others. I love to cook base of the client nutrition (diet etc). And I do not have any problems doing some light housekeeping and help with PT and OT exercise. I am comfortable with a puppy's dog. I am not comfortable with big dog and a cat (allergies).

what makes me be a great caregiver is because I love working with senior citizens and also as well I think I have a good heart and I have compassion for others as well I am a very hard working person I take my job very seriously honest trustworthyit's not about the money as well but I just love working with senior citizens at the end of the day I make and put a smile on someone's face and I'm very proud of whain my and I take pride in my job to make a difference in someone's lifethat's what makes me a good caregiver.

I became a caregiver because I am a compassionate , kind person who believes that anyone going through a tough journey deserves to have the best of care by someone who cares . I am a mother of 3 adult children and currently living with the youngest one who goes to college. I am currently working few hours just on call as needed by an agency. i am a certified nursing assistant and have 6 years experience in health care jobs. I worked with different agencies and different patients of which most of them have dementia and mobility issue diseases. My duties include transfer and mobility using wheel chairs or walkers but not limited to light house keeping, preparing meals,bathing and dressing,grooming toileting and medical reminders. My traits include patience, calmness in character and like to learn new things. I also like to listen and ask what questions on what i am not familiar with especially in the character of a new client. I am also a certified nursing assistant. I became attracted and passionate about caring giving since 2012 when i joined health care services a year after arriving here in America. My spiritual brief also empowers me to love and care for those that deserved to be taken care of and feel empathetic especially to those that are not able to do it for themselves and i believe that is what makes me a great caregiver. How i got attracted to care giving , is the facts of availability of job opportunities, realizing the US aging population of "baby boomers" may result in increasing demand of caregivers and home care homes and hence the work place will be more in the e next 10-20 years . What i enjoy most being a caregiver is the satisfaction i get when i realize that i have made a difference in someone's life who would be otherwise stuck in a situation that he/she may not handle on daily basis. What i have achieved as a person is the knowledge i get through experience and training. As a Certified nursing assistant i have confidence to do my job in the best way i can and have the assurance to be financially dependent which is a great achievement.
