I feel what makes me a great caregiver are a few reasons: I'm experienced in this field, I'm patient and I know what to expect and how to handle whatever occurs from the job. I became a caregiver because it was similar to the very first job I had, which was a patient attendant at U of M Hospital, that was a rewarding job that I enjoyed, and ever since then I've been in this field most of my time working. I like being a caregiver because I like helping people, and the job is very rewarding despite things that may occur on the job. I have my CNA diploma.

I have been a care giver for over 10yrs I made this choice for my profession because of the empathy and compassion my heart holds for those who are in need. I know in some cases the type of care might be different and require special attention based on the individual. I'm experienced in caring for people who are Visually impaired,Physically or mentally Disabled, Alzheimer's disease,Dementia,Parkinson's disease, M.S. and those who are in Hospice Care. In addition to my certifications I am a certified CNA ( Certified Nurse's Assistant) I enjoy bringing my positive, care free spirit in the environment of the person I'm caring for. I know their lives have been altered in so many ways and my only hope is to help provide them with the upmost care, love and guidance. I hope to help them through their bad day's and make their good days filled with joy and comfort. For me that's the satisfaction I get out of being a care giver.

I have always loved helping and taking care of people as a child. I realized it was a talent I had when I grew up and I have loved it ! I enjoy putting smiles on people's faces from the help I give them. As a caregiver, I've learned to love and beloved by my patients. They teach me new things each day. I am fully vaccinated, and have my booster. I haven't been able to submit an image of my vaccination card to the site, but if you are interested in hiring me, I can send the image through communications (texts, email, etc.). I like to make my patients laugh, regardless of what the task is, whether I am helping them clean up an accident, or helping them get dressed, it can be a fun experience for both of us. I have received personal letters saying thank you for being so kind and patiently caring, from families and patients themselves. I am skilled at what I do. I do things thoroughly. I am stronger than I look, I can easily transfer people larger and taller than me. I know when to lower someone to the ground during transfers to prevent them from falling and hurting themselves. I know how to determine normal vital signs, and blood sugar levels. I have worked in nursing facilities, and respond well in emergency situations. I do have a cat allergy.

I am truly passionate about caring for others, whether it's children or seniors or someone with a disability; it means a lot to me to be able to do so. Over the years I have gained exceptional skills to be able to provide families with care for their loved ones. I am honest and dependable and always on time. I started out in this field at a very young age and have built so many relationships during my journey. What attracted me to patient and client care initially was my genuine love for caring for others and the ability to make a difference. I've become experienced in memory care, dementia care, long term care, hospice, youth care, developmentally disabled care, and general patient care which I did through Michigan Medicine. I am now in nursing school to get my RN degree . I believe I will be an amazing nurse from all of my experiences with families like yours.

I feel as though I am a worthy caregiver because I treat the patients as if they're my family. I care for them and try to understand them so that I know how to work with them properly. Understanding the patients is to communicate with them and ask questions, so that we become familiar with each other. I became a caregiver to take stress from those who are not capable of keeping a close eye on their family members who they trust facilities with. In which I could relate to, because I also had a family member I would worry about and wished someone kept them company, so I wouldn't love anything more than to take that worry from someone if I can. I enjoy being a caregiver because I enjoy interacting with the elderly and showing them that people do care about them,because not a lot of elders are appreciated as they should be. They deserve to be comfortable and safe when they are not in the care of their own family. I've also had prior experience with working with the elderly, while in school, through a program called Externship, in which I am very proud of.

Am an easy going compassionate person. Caring for my grandmother towards her end life developed my care giving skills and this was what motivated me to go for nursing program. Caring for the elderly and the mentally challenged individuals. Being able to care for my clients, by helping with their day to day activities. Worked more with the elderlies for my first clinicals.And more importantly am proud of being able to go extra mile to put smiles on some of my patients' faces by going extra mile to address their needs.

I am a loving and caring person. I am a mother of two amazing little boys and i enjoy being there for others. When i was younger my mom had to get surgery on her knee and needed help afterwards and it made me want to do something helping others. I enjoy getting close to my residents and being that person they come to for help or just to talk to. I am proud of the impact i make on others that rely on me

I've been in caregiving for years and I've always loved helping people ever sense I was a little child. What I enjoy most is helping someone and seeing them have a smile on there face.

I have a wonderful personality. I have a Big family with lots of nephews and nieces that I enjoy spending time with. I'm very reliable, responsible and I take caring for others very seriously. I've also had elder care experience for 5+ years where are became a manager.
