Hi, my name is Santana, I have been a caregiver for over 10 years as a cna, I have worked in the hospital, nursing home facility, and have been an at home caregiver. I pride myself by taking very good care of my patients to the best of my ability to matter how much time it takes. I love to make my patient feel that they have my undivided attention and that I am there to really care for them and help. I love for the families that are not able to care for their parent or loved one to feel at ease about not being able to tend to them at the moment due to a job or etc. and that they are in good hands. Honestly, I've always had a giving personality and I like helping people. But I'd love to tell you a story, which really helped me make this decision. When my grandfather passed away, my grandmother was left alone. Plus, her arthritis was starting to worsen, and she began having more and more trouble preparing her meals, bathing, and getting her groceries. So we found her a caregiver and she was absolutely amazing! She stayed with my grandma for longer hours than expected, while telling stories about growing up in Europe. That was very soothing for my grandma, and that caregiver inspired me to join this field. I really try to get to know my patients. I ask a lot of questions. I ask about their feelings and if they're dealing with weighty emotions, like sadness, anger, or anxiety. I listen as much as possible and tell them they can talk to me about anything without worry. I try building trust, and it's a gradual process, but I do my best to get there.

My name is Inna Golden. I've been doing PCA work for about 4 years now I got certified May, 2022. I plan to go back to school for my LPN the year of 2023 and what makes me happy the most about doing this type of work is me feeling like that it's something that I was called to do. Hello my name is Mayra Vallejo. I became a CNA because working for somebody that needs love and attention satisfies my soul. After my first job as a caregiver to my father-in-law, I knew this was the work I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I'm a very patient person I have intuition towards peoples needs and wants. Being compassionate towards others is always my first priority.
