Good Morning. My name is Tamara Gossett. I have been an active CNA for 21 years and Med Tech for 15 years. I have been caring for people since I was younger. I grew up helping take care of my older family members. I love being a CNA. I get joy in knowing that I can provide great care for others in need. I take pride in the work I do. I know that at the end of my day I have did my job to the best of my ability and provided quality care. I enjoy the interaction I can have with my clients. I have met a lot of different people, I have heard wonderful, happy, silly, sad, and amazing stories from my clients. Being a CNA is not just a job for me but it is my career.

I became a caregiver because when I was young my grandmother had lung cancer really bad she was in and out of the hospital and I always wanted to be the one to take care of her. I also enjoy sitting and talking to people and listen to them and always wanting to help I have a very big heart. A personal achievement I'm proud of is getting my CNAs

My name is Amanda, I'm a 27 year old wife and mother of 3. I waited until all of my kids were in school to Persue my dreams of helping anyone in need, I just recently became a Cna and am now on the N.C. nurse aide 1 registry. I've been in and out of nursing homes from the time I was very young and I always loved how patient and loving my family members nurse's were but I also got to see some pretty nasty one's who we're only there for the money so from that point on I knew I wanted to be someone who the patients could count on like family.

I enjoy caring for people all different ages. I feel very happy knowing I am able to be there for other people whether they are going through a stage in life or whether they just need a little help with a few things

I am great with people, It is a step towards my future career, I like being able to help people achieve things they cannot achieve on their own, I raised money for a girls only orphanage in Honduras when I was only 12 years old and bought food and medicine for them

From the young age of 6, I have always showed a passion for caregiving. It all started when I would help my great grandmother with needs of getting in and out of bed, dressing/bathing and meals. Through high school I worked weekends and summers as a lifeguard for private parties. I went on to graduate high school with my CNA, first aid and CPR certifications. At 26, I have 10 years of experiences in many different atmospheres of nursing; ranging from nursing home care, home health, to working in a acute cancer care unit at a hospital. I consider myself a perfectionist and take my role as a certified nursing assistant very seriously. I pay attention to details and try to give each patient a unique and respectful experience while under my care and maintaining the patients dignity.
