I became a caregiver after my grandfather had cancer and passed away. My Mom said that I was really good with taking care of people that were elderly. I feel as though I am wise for my age, and would rather be around the elderly and have a conversation than with those of my own age. I love giving back. I get far more out of it than they do. When I leave and go home, I feel like I did something special that day, I cared for another person. That means a lot to me. One of the traits I have that make me a good caregiver is that I am very detail oriented. I follow through completely until the job is done. I do not rush. It may take longer, but in the end, it's worth it.

I have been a C.N.A for over five years now and I love what I do. I have a natural urge to help others. I am a great care giver because when I'm working with my clients I have empathy and compassion. I want the clients to know that I truly care about their well being and I'm there to help as much as possible. I am a very patient caregiver I often times think of myself in the clients shoes and realize it may be hard to get help from someone else but remaining patient and kind helps the client to let their guard down a little. I am a very reliable and dependable person I am someone who can be counted on to be there. I am a trustworthy person. I would consider myself as a Jack of all trades someone who is very valuable and can handle anything that comes my way!!
