I have 3 years of experience working as a CNA; I have worked with a variety of patients from a variety of ages and backgrounds with a variety of level of cares. My biggest compliment I get as a care giver is my confidence in my ability to perform the necessary cares and my ability to provide unconditional love, kindness, and compassion. I enjoy doing crafts, activities, watching movies or tv, reading books or newspapers/magazines, doing puzzles, knitting, coloring, dancing, and so much more. I'm very sweet and outgoing I do speak out when I know something is wrong a client. I'm also talkative and like to spend time knowing the client and making them feel comfortable with me. I love being a caregiver it just came naturally when I was a teen taking care of my dad when he was ill. I enjoy making my clients laugh and feeling very good knowing life goes on but if their having a bad day I make sure to put a smile or at least make them laugh before the my shift is over. My most achievement was getting my CNA and able to travel the USA and working in different departments of the healthcare field and working with different patients and their needs.
I have currently been in the nursing field for 12 years now. The things that attracted me to wanting to be in the nursing field are when I was a child my grandfather was put on hospice my grandmother kept him at home and had home care nurses in and out. I loved watching what they do and seeing my grandfather so comfortable at the end of life was a good feeling on a sad heart. I[?] also have a passion to help people and give them the care that they need to make their medical experience more enjoyable. I'm a patient, caring and kind woman who loves what she does and make sure each clients needs are met to their personal satisfaction. What I enjoy most about what i do is going above and beyond to make sure each clients needs are met. I also enjoying making the patient and their family are satisfied with the care provided.
I became a Cna looking to finish a nursing degree that I had started previous to living in Nebraska. After receiving my Cna and working in a fully skilled facility I realized that was my calling. Not nursing as I had previously thought. I prefer direct contact with the people I am caring for and found that as a nurse you spend most of your time behind the scenes. I have done this for almost 2 years and I couldn't imagine doing anything else. I am great at this, do to my desire to make everyone happy and loving to see them smile. The love I get in return for my care is better than any amount of money could be. Feels good to make a living doing what you love and being loved in return.
Hello, I have been a Cna since 2008, and I love caring for other people, and having the opportunity to make a difference in someone's life. I got in to this field after losing my grandparents, and Watching the care they were given, and I knew in my heart that this was what I was meant to do. I have tons of compassion, experience in bathing, feeding tubes, catheters, trech's, working with patients with Dementia, Autism, Spina Bifida, Multiple Sclerosis, Diabetes, etc. I am trustworthy, respectful, dependable, and would give you and your loved one the best care that I possible can. I look forward to hearing from you!
Hello there!!! My name is Verdene Dismuke and I am the caregiver for YOU!!!! I became a caregiver over 10 years ago because I have a genuine love and desire to care for those who can't help themselves. While my client base has mostly been comprised of the senior community, I also have cared for infants, children and those with special needs as well. What I enjoy about being a caregiver most are the smiles, hugs, and gently held hands I get from those I care for. Often times I am their primary contact during the day...the only friendly face, smile or conversation they receive. Being able to make that type of impact on someone's day is a powerful testament to human interaction and what a simple act of kindness can mean to someone. There's nothing like being the reason behind someone's joy. My most memorable personal achievement was taking a woman who hadn't been outside in a year outside to feel the sun on her face, the wind on her skin, and watch the season change. What that meant to her and the fact that I helped her accomplish what she thought was an unattainable goal has never been forgotten. I still smile fondly thinking about that first time. I am an honest genuine loving caregiver that offers more than the typical person. I believe in dignity at all times, keeping your loved one clean neat and tidy always, I do hair nails, etc and I am willing to go the extra mile for their comfort. I am friendly and outgoing, prompt, responsible, trustworthy and reliable.
Growing up, I spent a lot of time with my Grandparents. While helping them with with day to day chores, and activities of living. I also learned a lot from them as well. I enjoyed the quality time we had. Then later on once my Father passed away, I realized my passion, how much I truly enjoy helping others, and meeting the different families that God brings into my path. #Good 2B Home

I'm compassionate and I put a lot of effort into my work which makes me a great care giver. I have loved giving a helping hand and seeing the smile on everyone's face that I help, that is what attracts me to being a caregiver! I enjoy making connections and getting to know my patients, that is what I love most about being a care giver! I am so proud that I have a huge heart for helping people when a lot of the world probably would turn their heads to someone in need, that is what I'm proud of!
