I grew up in a diverse town called Lakewood, NJ. I have been working with people since 1994 beginning in the school system with students with behavioral and learning disabilities for 10 years (Howell BD OF Education) I worked for the state of NJ as a Youth Worker with juveniles that were classified serving time . I have nearly 10 years experiencing working at the Emergency Children's Shelter/Shore Youth Center. in Tom's River. Since 2006 I have been working at a MICA residential group home for men. I have worked these jobs because i wanted to make a difference in the lives of at risk youth, in many ways it's like a spiritual calling. Helping families during touch and challenging times has rarely been a problem for me in nearly 30 years, i look forward to going to work. Numerous times i worked 1 to 1 as a mentor providing wraparound services to youth and families in the community. As an former athlete i understand the true meaning of teamwork. In my spare time i write poetry translating the art of of professional artist as well as for my future poetry book. My personal goal is to establish my own outreach program in which i can provide services to the homeless population mobily , i assisted as a volunteer at Tent City in Lakewood. I am trained in basic First Aide/CPR, medication monitoring, safety, fire equipment , conflict resolution and many ongoing trainings annually.

My grandmother was my heart and soul I got into the healthcare industry because of her she became ill diabetic I lost her in 2007 but hasn't been the same without her I get my passionate love for my clients from her I'm always the one trying to find new things to learn and to help people I have a big heart I love hearing stories of couples been together for 60 years Love hearing war stories etc. I enjoy knowing that my clients are safe and loved I am all about respect I've learned a lot over the years a lot of people don't have no one and someone like myself may be the only visitor that they might get I take pride in what I do and I love it I am very proud of who I am today comes pure genuine love for what I do I take a vantage of life as much as I can I love my family I love to travel it's never too late to learn new things

When I was very young all my grandparents passed away robbing me from having them in my life. I currently work part-time as a receptionist at Adonis Hair Salon in Marlton. But something is missing from my life, the Cargiving aspect. While being able to be a caregiver, your aging loved one's happiness and quality of life are always my priority. Also if there is God-forbid to be an emergency I pride myself on always keeping calm and knowing what to do when under pressure. As the family member looking for a Caregiver you need someone that you can trust and know that has your aging loved one's best interest at heart and you will never have to worry about this with me. I now work for a quadriplegic client who i, change, take care of personal hygiene, medication maintenance, companionship, mobility, etc. I only take care of him on the weekend nights so it shouldn't interfere with your family if u were to be interested in me.

I'm a great caregiver because there just not a client to me there more like family I always give them that recognition that they do have somebody and they wasn't put on this life for no reason. I love being a caregiver because I love helping people I love being able to make them feel like they do have somebody. I enjoy being able to give them meals talk to them being able to make them feel wanted. I'm proud of myself for doing this for over 5 in a half years already I got my DCW-direct care worker certification it feels good to have helped these amazing people for over 5 years!. Im such a genuine person and I take pride in everything I do.
