I am medical Assistant and a Patient Care Associate (PCA), I've been on the health care field for about 8 years now. First i was a Home Health Aide then a CNA,I've worked as a home health aide for 3 years from 2015-2018,then cna for about 2 years from 2017-2019,and do medical Assistant from 2020 to 2022. And I'm currently working as a pca since 11-2022. The reason why I choose to work on the medical field is because I enjoy getting to know people and learn new skills.

My experience as a caregiver started early in my life when my older brother became mentally disabled. His mental and physical health deteriorated very quickly, which required constant supervision of his behavior, whereabouts, medicine intake and basic day-to-day needs. Later, due to severe trauma and illness, my mother became bed-ridden and remained so for 26 months until her passing away. I, once again, was her primary caregiver. Having experienced first-hand the daily responsibilities of caring for these two people, I know how important it is to have patience, understanding and compassion when dealing with patients. Now caregiver is my main job, I got more skills working over 4 years as a Home Health Aid . Compassionate, attentive to detail, caring, proactive and passionate about my job. I believe that besides the physical aspect, caring for those in needs is foremost about being kind and compassionate.

Im the type of person that cares about people in general. I have trust in humanity and consider myself to be trustworthy. Being a mother myself, I know what it's like to care for someone. One of the things that attracted me to the field of being a caregiver was the opportunity to help somebody that can't help themselves. Growing up when I was a young girl my grandfather was Incapacitated and my father cared for him in the home. I use to help out and I always enjoyed the feeling I got helping my Pop Pop. I was a 4 Time Girl's State Wrestling Champion in NJ,, 2016 State Champion in Connecticut, and 2016 Fargo North Dakota Girl's National 4th in The Country Freestyle Champion.
