Hello my name is Tavia and I have been a Caregiver since 1998. I became a CNA because back in High School I went to various nursing homes and hospitals to volunteer to help the elderly and I enjoyed it. I love making a difference and treating people how I want to be treated. What I like most is building relationships and giving my client a great experience. A personal achievement I am proud is being a successful CNA and becoming a advocate for seniors. I am a great CNA with lots of energy and great communication with tons of CNA background. I became a Caregiver and went on in the Medical field to help people to have a more productive life. I became a Care giver to make lives more not less.I believe that anyone can live a good long life if we focus on what they can do not on what they cannot. I believe in being innovative and making sure they are healthy, mentally, physically and Spiritually. God is Love and he loves us. So , we must love one another as he loves us.

I am also a great problem solver and supporter. My goal to become a caregiver was due to my background. I come from a different country, Sierra Leone. Life was difficult growing up and we all had to look out for each other. I was raised and taught by all of my elders to be caring and help others. The thing I enjoy most about caregiving is the patients. I was able to build great relationship with most of my former patients and I enjoy the time that I spend with them. My personal achievements are being able to care for all of my patients well and knowing that they are happy with everything I do for them.

Ive always felt connected to people. I have always had a genuine love and concern for them. I enjoy so very much taking care of those who are in need. I love my job, and feel it is rewarding because, when you take care of others, and truly love what you do for them, it shows, and others see that. This has been a huge stepping stone in my life, and I know and feel with all my heart, that I am on the path I have been created for. I have a passion in life, for taking care of other people. I enjoy talking with others, listening to there stories, being there aid/friend etc. I always give 110% with my work. I am always on time. I'm loyal, dependable, professional, very outgoing, talkative, kind hearted, and truly sincerely have a strong love for the elderly.

I love being a caregiver! I am a mom of 3 and I'm very honest and reliable. I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping the elderly and I like putting smiles on their faces. Im mostly proud of how strong I am and always able to see the bright side to everything!

I became a caregiver after my grandmother passed, she always helped and care for people. This is my way of honoring her in a way. I love the fact that I make a differences in someone's live. I am a honest, punctual, and responsible caring person who loves caring for people who are unable to care for themselves. I have been doing that for many years and i enjoyed doing it. I started working as a Nurse Aide we back 2009 in Elkhart,KS. afterwards i passed the test as a Certified Nursing Aide then afterwards i passed another test as a Certified Medication Aide. I like to work being a caregiver because I treat the elderly people as my parents or my grand parents because i don't have a parents or grand parents anymore. Where ever i worked nobody's complained my performances from my co workers, charge nurse,supervisor, employer and the family of the elderly people, and also the trust of the people to me i always kept where ever i go. i have two kids, my son 20 yr old and my daughter 18yr old.
