I'm a 30 year old mom of two boys. I've been in health care for 12 years now passing medication for 8 of those years. certified in CPR and diabetes and insulin. I've been trained in hospice and end of life comfort care. I enjoy everything about care giving! just knowing that i made someones day even a little better or put just a smile on there face makes my day. I'm big on family so I treat everyone that I take care of as if they are my family. I enjoy getting to meet and take care of new people and learning there life stories. everything is a learning experience and I'm proud of all the things that i have learned over these last 12 years because they made me a better care giver and mom.

Hi my name is Jahasia Weston. What makes me a good caregiver, I take my job very serious. I love to be able to help the elderly with daily living activities that they can not perform they self. I took care of my great grandma for 8 years up until she passed at the age of 102. After her passing it was my goal to become a caregiver and help the elderly. Hello! For the past four years, I have worked as a CNA while obtaining my bachelor's in biology and psychology at the University of Rochester. I have worked in nursing homes and hospitals but my favorite environment is one on one patient care where I can prioritize my patient and their needs. I learn valuable lessons from my patients that I will continue to hold near as I progress my education and as a practicing doctor one day.

I have worked with geriatrics for the past 17 years, I used to transport them in an ambulance, I worked for seven years in activities with them, before getting my certification in CNA/CHHA. I was an accountant by profession,after taking care of my sister who died of brain tumor and brother who died of cerebral palsy I changed to nursing.
