I am a caring home health aide providing care for the past four years to elderly and disabled clients. Being a caregiver comes naturally to me. I am a naturally caring person. I enjoy being able to help others with their daily living needs. I am a mother and a member of a large family so I understand the importance of caring for a loved one.

I am a 41 year old African American and have been a caregiver for the past 7 years. I have always loved to be a caregiver as I love to chat to the elderly and ensure that their needs are met at all times. I am an easy going, fun loving, hard working person and I love meeting people from all walks of life. One of the highlights of my job was being awarded as the best caregiver for the year 2016 by my current employer.

I'm patient, I listent to my patient because by listening to them, I can provide them with what they need. My grandmother attracted me of being a caregiver because when I was a little girl she used to take care of me, when she get old, she became a little girl who needed someone to take care of her at that time, I couldn't be there for her but I come to realization not to take this life for granted, while I can help someone who needs me, I have to do it in the best possible way, and there are a lots of amazing grandmas and grandpas out there who needs me. what I enjoy most about being a caregiver is known I'm helping someone who used to help others and now that person is needed for someone help, and that someone happened to be me. I'm proud of my self for doing my job with respect, love, patient and understanding .

Im the type of person that cares about people in general. I have trust in humanity and consider myself to be trustworthy. Being a mother myself, I know what it's like to care for someone. One of the things that attracted me to the field of being a caregiver was the opportunity to help somebody that can't help themselves. Growing up when I was a young girl my grandfather was Incapacitated and my father cared for him in the home. I use to help out and I always enjoyed the feeling I got helping my Pop Pop. I know there is a certain amount of physical involvement being a caregiver. I am we'll capable with lifting and the proper handling of the body. I was a 4 Time Girl's State Wrestling Champion in NJ,, 2016 State Champion in Connecticut, and 2016 Fargo North Dakota Girl's National 4th in The Country Freestyle Champion. In high school I graduated a year early by dedicating my time and energy into positive achievements. I bring the same dedication and intensity to the field of Caregiving.

I became a caregiver because I have compassion for people especially the elderly. I have so much love and respect for them. As a caregiver I took care of my mom who was very ill for quite sometimes and finally passed away. I was working at the facilities at the time when my mom got sick and I have to stop working and take care of her. After she passed away I decided to do home care and I have been a caregiver for 10 years. I am very experience I care about my clients a lot and makes sure that I provide for them the services that they need for their daily living. I also bring smile to their faces. I help them in bathing, dressing or grooming , meal preparation, medication reminder,errands,transportation to their doctors appointment, exercise safety supervision , ambulation and fall prevention, companionship, light housekeeping and laundry.my clients are my top priority . I am very communicative person always smiling , reliable, dependable and always on time. I am always showing my clients tender loving care . I am interested in live-ins or live - out.

I became a Caregiver because I took care of my late father when he was sick till he passed away.Since then, I start taking care of the elders with compassion and respect and I feel happy when I make someone feel comfortable when he/she feels alone.I am very proud of myself in doing this job because every family that I worked with wants me to stay with them as long as their love ones needed my care.
