Being a caregiver is one of the good decisions of my life, since I cared for my mom till she passed, I found compassion in caring for people to feel better, which then again gives me certain type of happiness. The fact that I put smiles on the faces of people makes being a caregiver a pleasant one to be. The most greatest achievement I have obtained during my service is trust, and I am proud to say so, because without trust what is the purpose of being a caregiver. I am a 34yrs with kids , and lots of experience as a caregiver. I can say so because I have been in this business for 12 yrs, and I have numerous reference to provide if needed.
When caring for others l am gentle and patient. I became a caregiver after caring for my Grandmother who had Alzheimer's and l realized l enjoyed caring for her. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to help people and trying my best to bring a little Sunshine into their lives. A personal achievement l am proud of would be having been a caregiver for 20 years.

I became a caregiver over 17 years ago when I migrated here from Ghana. Initially, I didn't think I'd fall in love with being a caregiver as a career choice but I have and still do. What makes me great at my job is that I don't just look at my patients as "patients" but rather as family and me as their friend and companion. With patience and the love that God expects us to demonstrate to one another I strive to be the best caregiver to everyone in need.
I am a very respectful and responsible individual. I take my job and clients serious. I enjoy everything I do this is not just a career to me I take pride in what I do. I love doing my job and caring for individuals and making a difference in someone's life. I came a long way with being involved in healthcare. Im compassionate, caring, respectful and understanding. Im very reliable and dependable. Im trustworthy and flexible. I naturally have an urge to help others. I've been a caregiver for 6 years and I love what I do. I like providing care to clients who are not able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel Im doing my job right. I enjoy helping people and I know Im doing the right thing. I've helped a client that came out of rehab get on his feet and starting doing things he normally does. That was a big accomplishment for both of us.
The elders are very important for our society. We must protect them and help them survive. Knowing this, I decided to become a caregiver. To accomplish my goal, I developed patience, ampathetic, enthusiastic, loving, and caring skills. By these skills, I expect to change elders life from stressing to happiness. An elder who choose me as a caregiver will double his life expectancy.
