I have worked in healthcare for over 20 years as a nurse assistant. I have worked several years in the hospital setting as a floater in every department. I have extensive knowledge working with the elderly and special needs population. My experience includes, cancer care, colostomy care, memory care, Ms, msa, respiratory therapy, wound care, vitals, medication management, diabetes care, cardiac care, post op care, medical surgery, ICU, emergency care, advance CPR and first aid, licensed cardiac technician etc.
The reason why I wanted to be a caregiver is because when I was a little girl; there was an elderly lady that lived down the street from me who had know one to help her at all. I would go sit with her and run errands for her just because that's what God wanted me to do, and I enjoyed it. I knew one day that I would do the same for others, who just needed a helping hand. I truly enjoy helping others and being a part of a support system for them as well. Now, on the other hand I take pride in what I do and I treat my clients like family; not like just another paycheck to collect. I'm honest and hard working, very diligent in providing the proper care that's needed. Also, being reliable is something I take very seriously because that person is counting on me to be there on time. If you want someone who is professional but kind, gets tasks done in a timely fashion, and is dependable then I feel that I am a great candidate. Thank you

Caring for someone is one of the most giving things a person can do. I love the people that I have cared for and they were very grateful to have me as their caregiver. The many ways that I cared for them was preparing meals, light homecare, assist bathing, grooming, driving to appointments and shopping. I made sure they had what they needed and we laughed allot. I prefer to have them in my home on a daily basis or some overnight whenever necessary.

I have been a caregiver for about 6 years now because I love to take care the elderly and the sick. My name is Margaret Banson and I have My CNA certificate and have worked in states such as Connecticut, Massachusetts and Maryland. My family is in Las Vegas, NV therefore I would want to work in Las Vegas or Henderson area in order to be close to my family. I have a lot of experience taking care, especially, of elderly people. The feeling of being there for them and helping them to live life without worrying about going about their daily routines as well as having someone to keep them company is something that gives me a lot of self-fulfillment. I do not just care for them, I also care about them. Based on past commendantions, I am convinced that I have not let any of them nor their families down.
I became a caregiver because of my father he was suffering from heart illness and I was taking care of him at home until he pass away. I decided to continue working with senior and make a difference on their lives. I become Certified Nurse Assistant ,that way I can help even more with more knowledge on how serve and help senior with their needs. I am easy-going and love to serve others. compassionate and dedicated caregiver who enjoys interacting with people, accompanying them to appointments, helping them with activities of daily living, running errands, performing light housekeeping, assisting with meal preparation and providing companionship.
I am a great caregiver because I love caring for others. I used to work in corporate america and it paid well but was not very rewarding. This half of my life I would like to give something back to the world. My parents and grandparents were in need of CNA & PCA help as they aged and my family were the caregivers to them. Seeing them not able to care for themselves made me realize that one day this could be me. I would like to keep my dignity even if I am disabled or whatever the case may be. I learned that caring for someone requires a great deal of patience and thoughtfulness. Doing this type of job for the money will carry you through for about one minute. I am very proud that I went back to college to attain a 2nd degree, my RN degree and still am in the process of achieving this. Overall, I enjoy a challenge and the personal growth that comes with that. I enjoy a high energy level, love pets, good conversation and I love life.
