I have acquired a wealth of knowledge through my experiences, education and athletic endeavors. I decided to become a caregiver because growing up my grandmother had early onset Alzheimer's, I watched how her caregivers supported her but our family as well. I started working at an assisted living facility during college and then transitioned into home care. I feel like often times when being a caregiver you are meeting someone at a challenging point in their life. It takes understanding, patience, kindness. I enjoy being part of a team that can make the transition of needing care not only easier on the families but as easy as possible for the person needing care.
