Hi, i'm stephanie i've been in the healthcare field for a few years now currently going to school for my RN degree, i'm outgoing and compassionate about the health community...i've always wanted to be in the health field since i was a child i love caring for people and taking care of them. What i enjoy most about caring for them is the look on there face and the enjoyment of the time im caring for them the joy in them talking to me about there old days and marriages it warms my heart! My personal achievement i am proud of was caring for my dying grandma at home before she got so severely sick, i gave her the best comforting rest and made her last days here comfortable and loving with family around her!

I have always been a very caring person but learned how much I enjoyed taking care of others after my father suffered from a stroke. Since then I have worked for years with people with disabilities. I enjoy working one on one with people and helping them accomplish tasks that they have worked hard at. I am proud to say that I have become a manager at my current job.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I am passionate about my job... it's more like a honor to me to work with elderly and disabled people. It helps build your patience, your emotions, your empathy, The way you care for people.. I feel like you have to have a heart to work as a care giver or aide it's a special job. What makes me enter the nursing field is that you can make a difference in someone's life.. The smile they have on their face when your around or show them care and let them know your there for them is amazing. My heart is in this job.. I'm proud that I stayed in this field for the years that I have been doing this because it build my character it helped me become a better person in so many areas. I learned so much as time past and I love that all my skills I have learned from the individuals I have cared for can help my daily life and others.
