I always wanted to be a nurse since I was a little girl. I love helping people and making them comfortable and happy. I love being a caregiver caring for people is my passion, I feel amazing knowing I'm helping make my patients feel better. The one personal achievement is purchasing a home with my husband three years ago to raise our three boys. My name is Sparkle and I Sparkle all the time by day I'm a nurse technician by night I'm a proud mom of three lovely boys and a wonderful wife to my husband, I have been certified in nursing for eleven years and very acomplished in this field.
I believe I am a kind, gentle, patient and compassionate caregiver. I've been taking care of my mother since I was four years old until she passed away in August of 2018. I am now taking care of my father who is suffering from Parkinson's Disease. I hope to become a nurse in the future but for now I would love to do what I am truly gifted at and that is taking care of others in need. I know that being a caretaker comes naturally to me. It brings me such joy being able to give others my assistance and comfort. I am proud of the time, love, support and dedication I gave to my mother. She was battling so many diseases and infections and it brought me inner peace knowing I was able to comfort her during those difficult times so she could relax and let her body heal. I can't think of anything else I would want to do with my life than to comfort and aid those who are in need of care.
I am a medical assistant and have been doing home care for 2 years now. I do bring happiness to those I am working with and am very pleasant, concerned, reliable, friendly, trustworthy and dependable. I do have experience in changing, bathing, feeding, administering medicine, insulin, checking blood pressure and overall caring for those who need assistance. Prior to doing home care I worked part time in a hospital and in a dermatology office. However, I do prefer to give my undivided attention to one patient at a time and not feel rushed while taking care of them.
I became a caregiver because I used to be very close to my grandmother when she was alive. I loved being not only her granddaughter, but a friend as well. I learned a lot about life from her, and she was like a breath of fresh air for me. Caring for her set me on my path to helping others long after she passed away. What I like best about being a caregiver is the friendship that can be procured. It is good to have the company, and makes me feel productive and needed. One of my greatest personal achievements was when I gave birth to my son Michael. I always dreamed of being a Mother and experiencing the joys that Motherhood brings. I am proud of my son and how nice of a person he grew up to be. My name is Vera and I am 55 years young lol. I have a degree in Special Education, and a certificate in Medical Assisting. I am hard working and love helping people. I have a sense of humor so watch out! However, I am serious about my job duties. I live with my Mother who is elderly. She misses my Father, and talks about him everyday. 3 years ago he passed away and I too, am still trying to get over it. My parents were my inspiration. I am so glad I was able to help my Father to the very end. I will always be there for my Mother and all the people that depend on me for companionship. That's what it's all about. Reaching out and loving others. So give me call, you won't be disappointed.
I have a lot of respect and compassion for all patients being able to gain their trust, and My desire to give full personal care and support needed. I like that I have the opportunity to do what I do best which is to make the patient comfortable, clean, meals, medication if needed, and that the family member have peace of mine by allowing me to care for their family. I retired after 20 yrs in another profession, I am all about family and I am very reliable individual.
