Welcoming you with warm wishes. Just wanted to share alittle about me. I'm 34 yrs old. I've worked since age 14yrs. My mom was a single mom raising 3 kids. I enjoyed working hard and I have always been a giving hearted person. I remember I used to get my paychecks an was so excited I was able to but my mom dinner from a days hard of work. I was first introduced to an entry level position in the State of Kansas as a Residential Trainer for people who face physical and mental challenges and I did that for 3 years. It was so rewarding. Very hard work but I have always been very open to learning new things and I enjoy challenges. If we stay in where were comfortable. The you limit yourself from learning and doing what you can to be the hands and feet for Gods kingdom. After doing that for 3 yrs I decided to get my nurses aide license and doing that for so many years has been such a wonderful opportunity. I absolutely love my elders and I AM THE VOICE WHO SPEAKS UP FOR THEM. I believe that there is way too many people shoved in a room with a facility that lacks sufficient staffing to give the residents attention to give them the essentials like a regular bath and hygiene and clothes put on. I've seen too much of the THE BAD AND THE UGLY in institutions and to me that's NO WAY for anyone to live or spend there retirement in. I love talking and sharing stories, praying, I enjoy providing exceptional care to all clients I come in contact. I'm very friendly. My passion in life is people going above and beyond the call of duty. I'm flexible and reliable as I dont have any kids. Just 3 sweet dogs. Hello everyone my name is Tyshawn Brooks . I go by Ty , I am super outgoing, I am a huge book worm . I looked into jobs for caregiving because I am use to taking care of people and I enjoy it . I have had three grandparents with dementia and with Alzheimer's disease. I helped take care of them since I was 15 . I believe I posses fantastic interpersonal skills . Also I am great company often told I'm wide beyond my years . I am currently working on my Emergency medical technician license which I will have in July . I am also currently CPR certified.

I've been a caregiver for a little bit over 18 years. I am a mother of three boys that I raised to be upstanding young men they are currently grown and in the work in field. I love being out in the community with my individuals. I went back to school to get my bachelor's degree in criminal justice. I work with Children Services and the Oriana House over the years along with my current job but I don't like being confined to office I like being out in the community doing stuff. I love being of service to other people and helping them out in every aspect that I can. I have built many bonds with family members over the years taking care of their loved ones. I would love to take care of your loved ones because I am a Christian who believes time spent should be benefiting others. I can easily adapt to new and challenging situations. I have always loved caring for people since I was a small child, after I had my own child my passion of caring for others grew. I love knowing that's I am making a difference in someone's life. What seems to be smallest thing to us, could mean the most to someone else. I have worked with individuals with special needs for seven years and have had the background of dealing with "difficult" traits. Everyone is different but we all want someone who shows they care about them. I currently am working with assisted living residents, and that's a big reward in it's self, I have no living grandparents so being with them makes me feel like I'm with my own family.
