I came to be in the healthcare field from my mom who was an RN and taking care of some of my immediate family and always been a caretaker. Since my 3+ years as an CNA I researched and met people on how I could bring the certification I received to others so traveled across the USA from NY to Idaho as an CNA in long term care facilities, also with private home care, because I want to give back to the Elderly. The experience of working with families, has given me a better perspective on life and the ability to handle any and all personalities, different levels of care, medical diagnosis. My professionalism is graceful and consistent with respect to whom I care for and their families.
My personality traits includes patience, compassion, dependability and trustworthiness. Which are important traits to have when you're a caregiver. What attracted me to being a caregiver was being able to help individuals who need it but want to live in the comfort of their own home. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to help individuals with certain things and just being able to provide companionship, being their for someone is what I enjoy most. Personal achievements I'm proud of include obtaining my first aid and cpr certification.
What makes me a great caregiver is that I love helping individuals that needs the help the most. I am warm hearted and can understand that I to may need help in the future myself so I look at it as paying it forward. I take my job very seriously. What attracted to me to becoming a caregiver was that I realized that some people don't have family that they can lean on, so as a helper to them, I would be considered family to them. I am outgoing, love to conversate about any topic, loves to cook and read books.
I thoroughly enjoy working with the geriatric population, dementia and Alzheimer's being my favorite diagnoses. I am a registered nurse and clinical counselor and enjoy both careers, however at this time I am taking a break from both to take time to focus on myself. I am willing to work with either males or females in any capacity that will help the family. I have a lot of flexibility related to my schedule. I look forward to working with your loved one.

I am a very outgoing, loveable, patient, and energetic, reliable, understanding and careing person. I person achievement is raising my children as a single mother and watching them grow and teach them how to be dependent and get threw life as they go on this journey threw life,I go above and beyond as I would want anyone to do for me or one of my loved ones.
I love to take good care of old people a lot and i was taking care of an elderly man named Dom before. I cooked for him breakfast, lunch and dinner. And cleaned his porta pot (potty chair). I love to take good care of the elderly people because I do care for the senior citizen/ elderly people a lot. It gives me something to do everyday.
I believe that my caring nature and my drive to help anyone in anway possible is what makes me a great caregiver. I have an extreme amount of patience and try to make the client feel as comfortable and happy as possible. I love knowing that I was able to help improve someones daily life by helping with tasks and giving them a friendly ear to talk to. I find it most enjoyable hearing the stories from the past of my clients. They always have so much knowledge to spread and, most of the time, they love to spread it. I have about two years of experience as a caregiver and did not realize how much I truely missed this career until recently. I am very proud of the work I have done and the lives I have helped.

I have always had this passion I believe everyone needs to feel loved! That is the best medicine. My goals are to continue to spread my love and advance my career by becoming a RN!
