I came to be in the healthcare field from my mom who was an RN and taking care of some of my immediate family and always been a caretaker. Since my 3+ years as an CNA I researched and met people on how I could bring the certification I received to others so traveled across the USA from NY to Idaho as an CNA in long term care facilities, also with private home care, because I want to give back to the Elderly. The experience of working with families, has given me a better perspective on life and the ability to handle any and all personalities, different levels of care, medical diagnosis. My professionalism is graceful and consistent with respect to whom I care for and their families.
My personality traits includes patience, compassion, dependability and trustworthiness. Which are important traits to have when you're a caregiver. What attracted me to being a caregiver was being able to help individuals who need it but want to live in the comfort of their own home. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to help individuals with certain things and just being able to provide companionship, being their for someone is what I enjoy most. Personal achievements I'm proud of include obtaining my first aid and cpr certification.
I am a hard-working mother who has been caring for the elderly for many years. I most recently cared for an 88 year old woman who, unfortunately, passed away. I worked in a nursing home for many years as an STNA and currently I am working for an ob/gyn office. I truly enjoy taking care of others.
I became a caregiver because I love helping people. The thing that I like most about caregiving is the people that I get to meet and assist. I have been taking care of other peoples kids starting at 10 years old up until I had my own. When I was 20 I became a State Tested Nursing Assistant working in a nursing home. I went on to an agency working in different hospitals, assisted living and nursing homes. I then worked at an agency doing live-in home care for four or less days at a time. When I moved to Youngstown I worked as a Home Heath Aide.

I'm A very patient and kind person who has a lot to offer. You'll find my work ethic, personality, and care are top notch! Looking to relocate as my three grown children are scattered thru the United States. Experience with dementia,MS,Parkinson's,diabetes, cancer, kidney disease ,Alzheimer's, too many to list. Most of my clients were extremely high class citizens ...heads of government, important people within my community.
I thoroughly enjoy working with the geriatric population, dementia and Alzheimer's being my favorite diagnoses. I am a registered nurse and clinical counselor and enjoy both careers, however at this time I am taking a break from both to take time to focus on myself. I am willing to work with either males or females in any capacity that will help the family. I have a lot of flexibility related to my schedule. I look forward to working with your loved one.

I person achievement is raising my children as a single mother and watching them grow and teach them how to be dependent and get threw life as they go on this journey threw life,I go above and beyond as I would want anyone to do for me or one of my loved ones.
I believe that my caring nature and my drive to help anyone in anway possible is what makes me a great caregiver. I have an extreme amount of patience and try to make the client feel as comfortable and happy as possible. I love knowing that I was able to help improve someones daily life by helping with tasks and giving them a friendly ear to talk to. I find it most enjoyable hearing the stories from the past of my clients. They always have so much knowledge to spread and, most of the time, they love to spread it. I have about two years of experience as a caregiver and did not realize how much I truely missed this career until recently. I am very proud of the work I have done and the lives I have helped.
My name is Takeia and I have officially been in this field since 2008, but my experience goes back further! I love helping others from holding a conversation to helping them get into bed! I have always had this passion I believe everyone needs to feel loved! That is the best medicine. My goals are to continue to spread my love and advance my career by becoming a RN! I love to see and make people smile giving them hope for a better tomorrow.
