I am a loving caring person. I do everything the best that I can and I gave more myself . I am dependable and reliable . And above all things I am Godly fearing person. I am a great encourager to my patient or my client giving them the best option always stay positive. I enjoyed most of my time is cooking a healthy food and eat lunch together and chatting and visiting and walking and listening a story to tell with my patients or my clients. My personal achievement that I am proud of is that I make my patients or clients smile and happy even things are difficult with them and then when you received an appreciation of what you did for them.

I became a caregiver because, I love to work with people. I like being a caregiver, because it is very rewarding. I am proud to have gotten my CNA and CNA 2. I love to work with home/ health and hospice the most. I have worked with many hospice patients and I am very good at working with the families of hospice patients too. My passion is hospice although I have worked with many kinds of patients. I have worked at Mercy Medical Center in Roseburg for seven years, from 1997 to 2004. I have done private paid jobs and caregiving jobs. I have worked with dementia and Alzheimer patients, too. It doesn't matter what kind of patients I work with, because I have a passion for nursing. I attempt to live my life as one of service. I am a Western monastic of the New Kadampa Tradition (Tibetan) but I also study metaphysics. I've done private caregiving jobs, agency work, facility work as well as live-in caregiving. For me, caregiving is an expression of the First Law, the Law of Love is Giving.

I've been a CNA for about 4 years and I've dealt with many different personalities and I feel I can adapt very well to many situatuons. I feel im easy to get along with, I'm caring and I pay attention to the patients needs. I was a volunteer firefighter for about 3 years and I really enjoyed it but I wanted to do more, and that's when I found CNA school and I've loved it ever since. I enjoy being a CNA because of all the patients and family members I get to form a bond/friendship with. I love seeing my patients and being able to interact with them. Working in hospice care I loved hearing from different team members about how much the patients enjoyed me and when the patients would pass away I felt very fortunate that the family would invite me to the service and allow me to be apart of that. I'm still in contact with some of my patients family because we formed such a great bond/love for one another.

I've been doing this for 29 years and I love it! I specialize In memory care however with that said I can do a lot: Skilled, rehab, quads, tub feedings ,ranger of motion , I can use both the hover and seat to stand lifts. In the beginning I wanted to go to the navy and then become a Marine biologist but I am flat footed and that stopped that and everyone in my family on my mom side is in nursing. Different levels and titles. So I gave it a shot and found I love it. They call me a lifer cuz I've been doing it for 29 years, but I enjoy it, I feel like I'm hangin with friends. Hello, my name is Rachelle; I have been a CNA for 17 years. I have worked with all kinds of disabilities, and ages, with a wide range of care, from trachea, and g-tube, and Nj tube patients. I also worked with memory care patients, and patients with mental health problems. I have worked with medical fragile children, and kids, and adults with Autism, and other developmental issues.
