Hi, my is Novlyn I been a caregiver for over 5yrs and " Still love what i do". I love providing home care-giving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. I'm 45 white single mother of 2 that are in college nothing holding me back from my career. I'm very trustworthy and loyal to my clients. I'm more then just there caretaker I'm there friend. My parents passed when I was young and l cared for both of them in my home. I'm very compassionate and understanding and utilize my skills so your loved ones get the best quality care. I've been in my profession for 25 years and loving everything about it. Helping people keep their independence or giving the extra help they need is a pleasure in my books. I have my certifications for the state of Florida I also have my CPR And First AID Training. I also have my own Health insurance car insurance and license. I will have my background check soon I'm new to this site and l have to wait on my birth certificate that l misplaced, so l can get my background check, l do have references l also have my clearances and fingerprints from up north so I'm waiting to update those as well. I have been a caregiver for a while. I enjoy to help seniors and I realized that i can learn alot from them. The seniors I have been taking care of became like family to me. We builded a strong relationship. I feel very comfortable being a caregiver and I enjoy to be a companion to them.

Hello! My name is Heather Dunmire, I have been in the medical field for 8 years now. My first job out of high school was a nurses aide position. I went on to further my education and obtain my CNA license in January 2017. I have a strong passion for wanting to help others and wanting to see them succeed. I have worked in a childcare facility as a shift supervisor before but I always find my way back to my elderly folk, that is where I feel my heart is at and where I feel I do my best work. I love hearing their stories from all throughout their lives, and I absolutely love to see the smiles on their faces. I like to really take the time to find out what their dislikes and likes are, get to know their routine of things, and try to connect with them in a way to make them feel safe and secure. I am cpr, first aid, aed, and Heimlich trained. I am also diabetic trained and medication trained, and insulin trained and I have a customer service certification. Any questions you may have, feel free to ask! Currently in nursing school.

One thing that attracted me to being a caregiver is that I absolutely love helping people and making them feel better. Seeing them have a good day helps me have a better day. Some of the traits that I have that help with this job is empathy. Empathy is a huge thing to have as a caregiver. Really, I absolutely love having a bond with my patients/residents. Seeing myself being able to help people and make their lives a little bit easier is what brings me to work. The one big achievement that I'm proud of is that I moved states away from my son to earn my state certifications.

Being a caregiver is more then assisting you're client/friend is comfortable and cared for in their home. Its about being there for them to lift their spirits up, to have someone that cares about their needs & someone that is there threw it all. Companionship is a key in all relationships with clients because they must feel comfortable with you inorder to have a great relationship. With talking to them you can insure what theyre likes/dislikes are and how to better their days or situations
