My personality is what makes me a great caregiver. I'm compassionate empathetic reliable trustworthy and I love what I do. Nothing makes me more happy then knowing I made a person that's sickly or not able to help themselves feel comfortable at ease and happy for the great care that they received from me. I always wanted to be a nurse so I became a certified nurses aide and have been taking care of the elderly for eleven years I'll be going to school to become a nurse helping people is my passion

I've spent most of my adult life taking care of people. It's what I love most. I love getting to know who I'm caring for as well as their loved ones.

My name is Barbara Alt I'm 53 yrs old I'm a CNA with over 30 years experience I love to care for the elderly I'm verse in many different areas I'm very out going I like to cook clean or just be a companion what ever your love one needs I will do.

I love taking care of people that need that little bit of help. I love everything about it. That my heart is in my job and I take of my resident the way I would want my family taken care of and I love that so many family tell me I need to become a RN because I am great at what I do n I would be a great RN. I been a cna for 6 year and I am happy I become one.

One thing that attracted me to being a caregiver is that I absolutely love helping people and making them feel better. Seeing them have a good day helps me have a better day. Some of the traits that I have that help with this job is empathy. Empathy is a huge thing to have as a caregiver. Really, I absolutely love having a bond with my patients/residents. Seeing myself being able to help people and make their lives a little bit easier is what brings me to work. The one big achievement that I'm proud of is that I moved states away from my son to earn my state certifications.

I have always had a nack for wanting take care of people my family always told me I was a old kind hearted soul. I am willing to help anyone I can young or old. I'm passionate at what I do I look at it as no one wants to be sick mentally or physically. I am lucky enough to be healthy so why not help others who need help helping there selves. If it wasn't for the people I have crossed paths with that I had the opportunity to take care I would have not wanted to go on to be a nurse. I know I'm doing something right when the people I have taken care of tell me I'm so glad I have you or are you going to be my aide tomorrow? I love you. Don't leave. An it breaks my heart. A. If reason why I want one on one Care cause in these nursing facilities I don't get a chance to be with the people as much as I'd like to really get that care they need. I want to be able to feel good about what I do an not guilty because I had 15 people An could only do so much by myself . This is why I am hear on earth to Be a care taker I wouldn't have it any other way

I have always wanted to take after my mother being in the nursing career. After my grandmother got sick and after her surgery, I took her into my care and took care of her for a year and a half until she passed away. After doing that I realized that I would love taking care of others. I knew that if I could do it with my grandmother I could do it with anyone. During the time I was taking care of my grandmother I learned how to gain patience, being compassionate with her and others, keeping up with house work, meal preparation, showering, transferring, medication reminders, and toileting. After she passed away I started at Quality Life Services in Apollo PA, doing the same thing. And I couldn't be happier with the career choice I have chosen. I love the work I do and I love the residents that I take care of, I look at them like they are my own family.

I became a caregiver after taking care of my mother before she passed. I enjoy helping people and having the day to day contact that makes the difference in someones life. I am proud that I have completed college while working full time as a certified nursing assistant. I am a hard worker and feel I have a lot of compassion

I became a certified nursing assistant 17 years ago and have loved every minute of it. To me, there is no greater reward then knowing you have made a difference in someone's life. I have worked in many aspects of nursing, but the one I love the best is in-home care because it allows the loved one to stay in their home as long as possible. My most personal achievement is my children who are now 25 and 22 years-old. My second most personal achievement is knowing that I am in the career I was meant to do. I am hard working, very organized, dependable and loyal to my clients.
