I am patient and loyal. I have a background in nursing and worked in various specialties in the nursing field. I served as the primary caregiver for my mother from 2001 until her death in 2017. She had severe dementia with psychotic episodes, and require constant supervision. She was bedfast for the last year of her life, and required intensive nursing care.
I am an experienced housekeeper. I have three and half years of working experience in housekeeping. Before I was employed, I had side jobs cleaning a church and apartment buildings. I also have gained much experience from keeping my own house in order while growing up. I have organizational skills and I have helped at dinner parties and birthday parties. I also have experience with taking care of children. I am a nanny/babysitter. I have experience working with children from infants to young teens. I enjoy working with people and I don't view my job as only a means to make money, but also an opportunity to bless whoever I am under employment.
Greetings I want to share that my first caregiving experiences were with my parents. Unfortunately they both took sick at the same time period. I had to manage care for them and work a full time job. I understand that it is important that you get the best caring and compassionate person to take care of your love one. I feel as though that I am that person and I do care because no matter what my jobs title that I have worked during the years I always see the need and kindness in a people. I am not only talking the talk but I actually walked the walk too. I am proud of the fact that I played a big role during those challenging years of my parent's sickness. I have had the opportunity to provide public services at an early by working in the health field such as the hospitals and health department, cashiers, bus driver and so much more. In all my professional jobs the need for compassion and caring was very important. I get joy by helping others and if your love one just need a companion to comfort them please contact me. I am willing to work with you and your love ones to make things better and less stressful. Thanks?
Hello, My name is Titilola from Seniors Helping Hands At Home LLC, I have been caring for the elderly ones in their homes, hospitals, nursing homes and assisted living for over 9 years now. I have worked with people with dementia/Alzheimer, and Parkinson concerns. I enjoy working with the Seniors, I have respect for them because they have labored in life, and it's time for them to be rewarded. Being a parent myself, i know how far my children can go in order to make me comfortable. The request i always make from my clients is to tell me what they want for their loved ones, and that's what i have been doing. My clients appreciate my job so much. Below is the review of one of my client's family member. More references are available upon request. I am CPR certified, registered as a non medical caregiver with the State of Maryland, a non smoker, and also registered as a Home Health Aide with the American Caregivers Association. Thank you, Titilola P. SENIORS HELPING HANDS AT HOME LLC Nov 13, 2017 Jean F. Hired Titilola Titi provided care for my elderly mother for over a year. My mother has severe dementia and Titi's calm personality and gentle manner worked very well in this situation. She prepared meals, did laundry and light housekeeping and helped with my mother's personal care. She did a good job of "tuning in" to my mother's moods and gave her ample quiet time when she needed it. Titi was competent without being overbearing. I would recommend her as a care giver for elderly people. Titilola P. Replied Nov 14, 2017 Thanks Jean
I am a loving and caring person and I love helping others. I love my job and what it allows me to do for others. I have been on the receiving end of having a loved one get very sick and bounce back and forth from nursing home to hospital so I know all too well not just the physical but the emotional strain that situations like these can have for people and family's. This is why I try my best to help the best I can in any situation. I choose to get into this line of work because unfortunately I had to see first hand with a loved one that not everyone is properly taken care of or even cared about in these situations and that is just awful and unfair. When my loved one passed away I vowed to make a difference, even if its just one person or a small few its better then none or just doing nothing.
I became a caregiver because I love to help others. I like the fact that I can always be there for someone else in time of need. My biggest accomplishment was finishing school for medical assisting I know that I had to take care of my family and have responsibilities so I did what I had to. I'm a mother of a 7 year & a 8 month old I'm 30 years old, I'm good at what I do and I treat those like family of whom I take care of.
I have always since a little girl wanted to be a nurse. I started in elementary helping the I.U 13 classes with recess, bus, and gym buddies. In 1997 I took a 2 week course and got my CNA. In the past 22 years I have met a lot of different people in the nursing field. Some that can communicate verbally others can't. Some can show emotions others can't. I've worked for people my age, older and younger. I give the same care and respect to each one. Maybe showed a little more love to some that had no one else in there life. I love being a personal care assistant, I enjoy meeting new people and helping them progress in life. Even if its just getting ready for the day. I enjoy to see them smile.
I became a caregiver because I am a compassionate , kind person who believes that anyone going through a tough journey deserves to have the best of care by someone who cares . I find the greatest reward in my job is meeting people who matter , and can offer as much to me as i can to them. I believe i learn from every person ive ever cared for. I am most proud of having every person ive ever cared for like the person i am and be leased with the care i have given them. I have gone through knowing hard journeys in life because my own child was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer at 10 yrs. Old..i became a caregiver to her and learned so much about how precious every life is..
A little about is I am a 21 year old male, the second youngest of 9 siblings, and a newly father to a beautiful 4 month old daughter. I played soccer all my life and led my team to state championship the first one since 1958 my senior year. I am a super hard worker but I want a rewarding job not to be in some factory some where. I want to help people, I want to do something for the greater good and this job I would be doing that directly. I am an energetic person so I wouldn't mind doing fun things with my senior that they enjoy. I'm pretty handy so I can help around the house and as a marine we would get inspected almost everyday so I can keep the place tidy. I am willing to assist in anyway needed.
I have 30+ years experience in long term care> I have also done 1 1/2 years Hospice care and have also done Home Care. I love working with the elderly as I think I get more from them then anything I can do for them. I feel people should be shown respect, and that their dignity is what needs to be on everyone's mind that are caring for that resident! I knew at the age of 8 that I wanted to be a nurse and I have been blessed in my life as I have enjoyed so many years doing what I always wanted to do.I have been trained by the Alzheimers Association to care for and enhance the lives of the Dementia patient's I have cared for I have help develop and implement what I learned to open a Dementia unit that used Aromatherapy, Cognitive Activities, Music Therapy and ADL help. Hope you consider me for employment!.
I was born in the family of health professionals. Often times I watched my Mum treat people who were ill and those with wounds. I learned to exercise patience with a patient and to treat them with love and care. I once took care of a 90 year old man and the family were happy as their father sounded happier each passing day. I love meeting new people that's what interests me most about this job.
