I became a caregiver because it provides me with a wonderful sense of fulfillment. I feel honored to provide assistance to people in need. What I like most of all is seeing the stress removed from the families faces, knowing that they have excellent care for their loved ones, thus allowing them to continue with their lives without feeling guilty. The personal achievement that I am most proud of is obtaining a Master of Science degree in Hospitality & Tourism Management. I am a professionally trained chef and a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant. I served my country honorably in the U.S. Air Force for over 12 years. I started my career in caregiving by taking care of my own loved ones. I have over 7 years of caregiver experience. I have cared for male/female clients with Dementia / Alzheimer's, strokes, ALS and other medical conditions.

Some things aI love about being a caregiver, seeing others smile and feel comfortable. Knowing that they are going to be well taken care of. Im proud of having the opportunity to work with sick children and making them laugh. I'm a mother one young boy.
I'm friendly and outgoing. I love connecting people to the best resources available. I was an assistant in nursing homes and assisted living facilities through High School and college but went into broadcasting. When I left my career I took a cross-country road trip that ended in a 2-month stay with my elderly, disabled aunt. It reignited the love for caretaking. I enjoy getting to know the clients, hearing their history and about their life and families. I love helping people remain active and aware as long as possible. You'll find I am most proud of my kids and my grandkids. Family feeds my soul.
