I'm a very compassionate and caring caregiver. Providing care is a passion for me and I see it as a calling and not a profession. I love putting smiles on the faces of my clients and going the extra mile for them. I'm very patient and I understand the needs of my clients and how to cater for them. I love the health sector and I'm hoping I'd became a registered nurse in the near future.
I've always wanted to do this because everyone one in my family has been in this job filed. So I grow up around it,and went to work with my grandmother and mother to work when I was young. I enjoy helping other. I want to own my own 24-hour daycare. This filed that I'm in help me have a better understand on how to run my business in the future. I want it to be open to all ages as well. I have plan, hopes and dream to make come true.

My grandparents raised me and so automatically I have always loved the elderly. I received my certification for nurses aide in 2008 and have worked at various nursing homes since then. I love helping these people and hearing their stories. A personal achievement for me is whenever one of my elderly clients tells me "thank you for all that you do." I like to believe that somehow I have made a difference in their lives for that day.
I am a great caregiver. I take my time to get to know the family of the person that I will be caring for. I also get to know the person that I am caring for their do's there don'ts. Writing notes is what I do most of the time and sometimes people that I care for have to modify how they want to be taken care of and that's a day-to-day basis sometimes it might be a routine sometimes it might change every other day based on me. I do my job well and I treat my patience or clients as if they were my own family members. I also have a rapport with the family of whom I am caring for.
What makes me a great caregiver is I genuinely care for my patients ... I take the time to care for them with the love I would my own ... What attracted me to being a caregiver is my experience working in nursing facilities ... also the fact that my father was a senior citizen and i couldn't care for him like I wanted to before he passed away because I was to young ... I enjoy it a lot because I feel the elderly needs companionship, someone to talk with when they are feeling alone ... a personal achievement I'm proud of is raising my children to be the best they can be and sending my son off to college with a full football scholarship
