I'm a very upfront outgoing person. I've been a Certified Nurse Assistant since I was 18 yrs old. I was helping my Mom out with my Dad during his battle with lung cancer. I enjoyed giving my Dad one on one care. I cared for him while my Mother was at work. Allowing him to be comfortable in his own home. After he passed I went on to take the CNA, CMA, Phlebotomy class at Kilgore College. I enjoyed mostly the one on one time spent with my patients. Getting to know them. I've worked in Long term care facilities. Prisons, Home healths, Assisted living homes. I mostly enjoy going into the homes as a Companion. Just giving somebody the option of staying home. Helping them with all daily living routines. Allowing them to still stay active. Giving them respect, dignity. Also giving them all my attention.
What make me be a great caregiver is the compassion and love that I have for people. What attracted me to being a caregiver was when I worked in the laundry at a nursing home and when I would take the residents their clothes and their call light would be on waiting for someone to help them, but no one would come, I would try and help them. That's when I decided to go get my CNA license. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is listening to my client talk about the good old days and their family and watch their eyes light up and see the smile on their face. The most personal achievement that I'm proud of as a provider is knowing that I was able to give a family member love one the proper care and love that they so deserve.
I have been caring for people for what seems like all my life. Since 11 years old I hehelped take care of my cousin that has arthritis and then again worked for her when we were older. I am sensitive to others needs whether it be physically or emotionally. On a professional level I have 6 years of Home Health and just got certified a Nurse Aide. I have worked for a nursing home in Longview for one year. I love the work I do.
I have trained and worked as a CNA for over 25 years, which includes hospice. My experience far out way my training because of my desire to continually expand my skills and training, which adds to my services rendered to clients. There is no illness or disease I have not worked with. I will be a welcome asset to any client who acquire my services.
I'm a very compassionate person who believes our patients should be treated like we would want our family members taken care of. I came into this field because I love to help people. My future plans I plan on becoming a Registered nurse. I believe I can offer the care someone needs. I don't mind being the ear just to listen when someone needs to talk.
I am a 35 year old mom of two kids. I they are my world and do what I have to do for them to have a good life which entails that I work a lot! I love helping people and love making a difference in someone's life. To be able to her someone that is struggling, and making a small difference in someone's life or just making them as comfortable as possible, is what makes my life fulfilled and complete. I'm in the process as well on working into going back to school to further my experiences and striving to become the "better me". I would love the chance to work with you or your family and to make a difference if possible
i am very loving and caring to and with people, dependable and honest, I became a care giver to give my help to the needed and shut in, to show them the respect, love and dignity they are very much need of, my career work have very challenge by many, but i have been voted and honored the best in what i do, i would love to care for someone out there who is in need of my care, i will give you the very best of care that a C.N.A can give, If you consider hiring me for the job, i have very out standing references,
what makes me a caregiver is the simple fact that I love what I do. I take care of my patients like I would my own grandmother/grandfather, aunt/uncle & so on . I became a caregiver at first so that I could help support my family, I ended up loving what I do and would not choose any other profession. I love the elderly, I get very attatched for what I think because I feel compassion for them and I would hope that one day when I am in their shoes, I hope someone will take care of me the way I do for my patients. What I love about being a caregiver is that I get to know my people on a one-on-one basis, I get to hear their stories whether they be good or bad and get to see a little glimpse of what it was like to be in their shoes. A personal achievement I am proud of is that even though I have children I feel being a caregiver is something GOD has given me the ability to do so that I can be there for your loved ones when you are not able, so that they don't have to feel alone and so that they know they will always have a friend in me who genuinely cares for them and who would go above and beyond to give them the best loving care. so I know that if I didn't do anything else right in life I know that I did my best to take care of your loved ones.

Hi, I'm Lynda, I'm the caregiver on the left in my profile pic..the other young lady is my oldest grand-daughter. I became a Caregiver 6 years ago. I owned some Pet Salons and groomed for 18 yrs. and loved it!! Divorce took me by surprise so by nature I was headed in a direction to do caregiving for those in need of healthcare. I can work Five days a week and maybe Six. Sunday is very important to me as being a Christian. This day I serve the Lord. My Passion is helping those who can't help themselves. That's my job. I bond easily because I really care about their fears. I am a caregiver who wants the best for each individual. I'm a Pct at a hospital and was highly trained to be the best at what I do. Long hours and hard work is all I've known but feel there is a need and relief to serve all patients who deserve to be treated with dignity. I'm proud of what I have accomplished as a Pct Working with great professional caregivers who have taught me to become even better at what I do. The knowledge behind it all and the many lessons we learn on a daily basis. This is truly a rewarding job in many ways. This is where God lead me and I am truly blessed. Lynda
I have been doing some form of caregiving for the last 10 years. I love what I do and take my job very seriously. I have been doing in home care for the last 6 years. I am very good at dealing with dementia and Alzheimer's patients/clients or the sometimes difficult to handle patients and clients as well as many other health issues. Before I started in home care i got my CNA license and worked in a long term care facility on the skilled unit as well as the Alzheimer's/dementia wing. I've also worked as a live in care provider for a short time as well as in a couple group homes where I cared for mentally challenged children and adults. I genuinely care about what I do and the people I care for and will treat them as family. I will be moving to the Carthage area at the end of July 2019 and want to continue doing what I love and am very good at once I am there.
