I took an interest in the medical field at the age of 20 during my schooling for Cosmetology. I went on to school an earn an associate degree in medical science as a Medical Assistant. Have worked in many areas of HOME HEALTH CARE. I am well rounded in most areas. A passion an interest in the health of people who need at home care and can utilize my knowledge and skills. I know how important it is to be comfortable in the privacy of your own home. I have assisted and supported families with caring for their love ones. My personal achievement was my schooling to reach my career goals. I love the medical field its so rewarding when u can be there to help meet the medical needs and support of those who really need it. An my desire is to continue to aide those who need an can use my skills. I have upgraded my skills with online continuing education and recently received certification in the care of Alzheimer and Dementia clients.

I have been in the Hospice and Home Health profession for well over 17 years. I understand the need for compassionate, patient, empathetic, trust worthy, and hard working individuals in this field. I've worked with all kinds of ailments and disabilities in my span as a CNA. I treat everyone with the same courtesy, live, and respect that I desire to recieve.

I became a caregiver because I love to help and take care of people. I like being a caregiver because I get to meet different people and care for them in ways that I am needed. A personal achievement that I am proud of is that I am able to go out and assist people with their needs and be a big help to the family as well as for the patient. I have been a CNA for 10 yrs and a Medication aide for 8yrs. I have also taken phelebotomy and EKG courses.

I became a caregiver because i realized from an early age that i love helping and was feeling so fulfilled after i rendered help.What i like about being a caregiver is that i can a difference in a person's life no matter how little.I once took care of a lady who had fractured her hip,with love ,encouragement and help she healed so fast and was able to do most of her duties.I am a good listener,hardworking,responsible and reliable.

I am a great care giver because I love helping others in need. I enjoy what I do for an individual to ensure or balance a healthy life. I am very detailed oriented, people person and a patient individual. I think I am in the correct professional field. I would want someone who is caring to take care of my daily needs.

Am patient and calme,I think the best thing to do in life is helping those in need.i always try my best to treat those I take care of the way I will like to be treated myself.my best days are those when I can put a smile on those I take care of .my best achievement is my sense of endurance, even in tough days I do every thing to stay positive that the best is yet to come.

I have been a nursing assistant for 11 years and a medication aide for 8 years. I am very competent in my field and enjoy what I do. I have experience working in memory care, assisted living and long term care.

I became a caregiver back in 1989 because I enjoy taking care of people. I want to be able to help people do the things that they can no longer do depending on their problems. I feel like I am a people person. I have worked in different nursing homes, and for the state of Texas helping to take care of people in different situations.

Its funny my grandma was a RN and my mom did home health the whole time I was growing up. And I swore i would NEVER do it. Well in 2007 when recession started I kept losing one retail job after another. So I ended up having to move back in with mom. She offered to pay for me to take a CNA class and I could pay her back with my taxes. So I did. And i haven't stopped yet I have gone further and received my Certified Medication Aide license as well and hopefully will be able to continue my education in nursing some day. I like being there with the families, If i can be the person to lighten your load or even help understand a little whats going on. I love my patients and residents. They brighten my day. I know its work and my job but I feel that we help each other. I have a huge family with 13 brothers and sisters and the families I work with are just an extension of that.

Am detailed-oriented. * Am a bachelor's degree holder in management sciences, after taking care of my grandfather for 2 years i realized where my heart belong "in care-giving". This made me to take Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) and Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) courses to better my knowledge in care-giving. * Listening to Patients/Clients relate their experiences, challenges and sacrifices they have made gives me hope and satisfaction. * When family members of a client/patient tell me how grateful they are for the care i give to their love one, this make me so glad and am motivated to do more to my strength and ability. * I have taken few special training on Dementia/Alzheimer care.
