My passion for helping people is what attracted me to caregiving. I enjoy cooking with patients and as well creating arts and crafts. My personality compliments my love for being a caregiver. I can still have my personal life and take of my children without feeling like I have job.

I am familiar with in home, skilled nursing, memory, assisted and independent living cares. I became a caregiver because I love helping people. I was raised to respect and cherish the sick and elderly at all times. I wanted and studied to be a doctor, but sometimes life gets in the way of our goals so care giving is my way of still helping in the healthcare field. I like seeing relief and satisfaction on client's faces when they are clean, their home is clean, they have a great meal and great company in their presence regularly. A personal achievement I am proud of is graduating high school with honors and making my parents proud. I attended business school, college and a university. I take each client as if they are family making sure I know what their needs are. Also, asking engaging questions about what they would like to accomplish, goals for the near future, and what type of care works best for them.

I view caregiving as a calling and love to help people. I have assisted with companion care to end of life and everything in between. I am delegated for med management, delegated for g-tube feedings and care, experienced with memory care, physical disabilities, stroke, dementia, Parkinson's, hoyer lift and wheelchair, physical therapy, speech therapy, and light house keeping.

I love caring and being there for others. I'm very compassionate and a loving person. I'm a very patient person.

I'm caring and compassionate, I have a huge heart and honestly enjoy helping others. Which is why being a caregiver isn't just about receiving a pay check to me. To me its about making a difference in someone's life, although it may be a small difference. My main goal as a caregiver is to assist you (the family) in keeping your loved one in their home and happy as long as I can, to be there when you can't and bring you peace of mind knowing your loved one is being cared for. I love that I get to know the people I take care of, hearing the stories, being the person they look forward to seeing each day. Like I said, yes its my job, but its a job I'm very passionate about and take pride in.

The ability to provide and care for ones needs other than mine, I believe makes me a great caregiver. I became a caregiver after taking care of my mom during her post-op care. I like being a caregiver because I get to provide help to individuals who may not have the means to help themselves or even family members to help.

I am a compassionate person, with an ability to multitask and a good listener. my experience with elderly care gives me an edge on dealing in critical situations (if needed). The sense of positivity and feeling of empathy are rewarding factors according to me for being a caregiver. Also gives me a sense of personal satisfaction i get from helping the seniors. One of my best achievement would be - making a decision to save someone's life But Also Stan one of the residents dedicated a song to me and this is why I love being a caregiver as well.I love one on one interaction with others as well as I enjoy taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way.

I am a friendly and people pleasing person. I tend to get along well with most people and even if I don't, I can be civil with them. I am not very talkative but I am a good listener and can keep a conversation going. I have wanted to be a caregiver for forever. I love helping people out, helping to keep them doing what they like to do. I love the fact that I can help people feel comfortable in their own home when they may not feel like it. Even something as little as keeping people company and giving them someone to talk to is so satisfying and I love the feeling that I could make their day any better. I have a medical assisting certification and am good with in home health care due to my history in caregiving.
