I went for my CNA license to better understand how to care for elderly and home-bound people as well as to correctly care for my brother who passed from cancer. I am careful, safe, organized and coordinated in transporting clients for their needs whether it is for picking up medications, getting them to and from their appointments, filling out forms, helping with their shopping, all personal care service for their daily living for and anytime they want some simple conversation and just not be alone. To give and share with clients, one must be compassionate and patient and have an understanding that those needing care would like for the caregiver to understand their needs. General companionship and interaction with client (i.e. reading books, cognitive therapies). Driving client to and from appointments and activities in a client-provided wheelchair accessible van.

My clients are not just a task. They become family through the relationship we build. There is a genuine concern for their needs not just the physically but emotionally. I have a great passion to help those who are vulnerable and sometimes without a voice. I am an Advocate. There is gentleness, kindness & patience offered to those I care for. My heart & passion for people as well as my faith are openly displayed.
