I have 21 years of caregiving experience. I had worked in skilled nursing facilities, currently working at a university teaching hospital and home health agency. In the hospital I work on different units such as mental health, rehabilitation, ICU and med surge units. I have certified nurses assistant and respiratory therapy certificates. I am a great caregiver, I love to help people when they cant help their self, (we all get like that at some point, and that's OKAY!) I became a caregiver at a very young age. I was 12 when my grandmother got cancer and needed round the clock care. my mother also got really sick back in 2005 and needed care, (she had memory loss due to a brain aneurysm) I enjoy taking care of people of any age, it makes me feel good about myself and makes me proud to help!

I became a caregiver because I have compassion and care for the elderly. I was a caregiver for nearly 2 years, then I went back to school and took a course in Medical Front Office Administration, graduated 2013. I have worked the past few years in the Medical Office. At this time I am in need of a part-time job, assisting the elderly, as I have compassion for them, and more experience, since my mom now has Alzheimer's, dementia and congestive heart failure. I have experience with Alzheimer's, dementia, ambulatory, stroke victims, diabetic and other elderly patients. I have excellent interpersonal, communication skills, follow directions, very patient, kind and understanding, great companionship, personable, and devoted. I am not a CNA, my CPR needs to be updated; just let me know if you require my CPR to be updated before I start. I have not and will not pay for a background check until necessary, as I have experienced this site does not have very many people on it, so I need to make sure it's worthwhile.

I learned that I have the ability to become a caregiver right after I took care of my grandmothers, my grandfather and my father in law, it is very fulfilling to help and to put a smile on other peoples life, I fell so proud everyday that I help them do the things that they cannot do anymore. My personal achievement that I can proud of is with my father in law, he said am a great person and he is proud of me and my parents for having me (this for me is the best achievement I accomplished as a person.
