Hello! My name is Beth. I am 37 years old & the mother to 2 boys (19 & 7). Throughout my entire life I have been referred to as an "old soul", often relating to & befriending folks over 60. I have always cherished what their generation has to share & what they've given to us. Listening to them recall their past & share advice is honestly the most rewarding bonus about being a caregiver! I truly believe caregiving was what I was called to do & I'm so thankful it's my passion! I have over 14 years of experience, mostly with seniors & working with Dementia/Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, & terminal illness. I assist my clients by providing companionship & help w/ bathing, dressing, meal prep, laundry, house keeping, dishes, meds, appts, shopping, transportation, scheduling, keeping care logs, & any other daily needs. I have experience working w/ the Hoyer lift & wheelchair (both manual & electric). I do my best to get clients up & around, keeping their blood flowing and muscles strong. I am a honest, compassionate person with 11 plus years of experience. I became a Caregiver because of my unique personality. I love to help everyone around me wether is physical or emotional support. I'm not shy, I'm ready to work and get into the mix of things! I love helping people in any way, I'm so passionate about caring for others, that I'm making a career out of it! I love lifting people up, both emotionally and physically. I wouldn't trade the bond I share with others for the world! Additionally, an achievement I am proud of is kind of silly, but it was buying my very first car all by myself, with my hard earned money and time. I don't have patients I have new family members to care for. It's my effortless compassion to focus on him/her with love, kindness and a desire to learn their needs with adaptability. I became a caregiver because my loved ones (your family members) need to know someone cares and is fully committed to fulfilling their needs, as they deserve. What I enjoy about being a caregiver is restoring security, safety, and trust during our newfound relationship. One of my proudest personal achievements is when I realized I have the ability to love everyone. It takes a special someone to know they're here to serve others but to genuinely love and serve others is something that cannot be taught. I am that someone.

I have been in healthcare for 14 years I have specialized in home health for the past 10 years my last client I was with her for over 6 years she was a cancer survivor and I was with her throughout her radiation and chemo treatments and helped her get through her cancer when she became very ill in her last stage of life I was with her then as wells when hospice was brought in so I specialize in hospice care as well as she is not my first patient on hospice care.

I take pride in what I do. Working with people from all walks of life is something i enjoy. I take great care of not only my family but others as well. I have wanted to be a nurse since I was 15 and I have made that dream come true. I still have a ways to go but I want to get experience anywhere I can and in all forms. I enjoy listening to stories of the past and assisting with making new memories. I understand families cannot always stay with their loved ones 24/7 so I would like to lend a hand or two. I am very patient with people and do not rush them; I try to let them continue to do what they can and not feel helpless.
