I give the upmost love and affection to my patience, which I don't consider patients but more like family. I truly believe this is my calling in life and unfortunately my most current patient has passed away so I have to find another avenue for my expertise. I have a wonderful husband and an amazing seven-year-old daughter and a very large family who are all very supportive. I have been involved in the community doing volunteer work and was raised in a very religious atmosphere.

I have always loved taking care of elderly and disabled people. I live and breath it and it is where my heart is. my direct number is two five four three six eight three six two seven. I am a 40-year-old female that has had over 13 years experience. I have had live-ins as well as me going to their homes. I have rehabilitated ones that suffered from strokes. I am willing to travel 60 miles to the home if needed. I am very loving, detailed, patient and kind. I am looking for full time work. I hope I get to take care of your loved one! I became a care giver because I love people & want to make a difference in someone's life. I enjoy being a caregiver because I feel we all will need help one of these days. I lived with my Mother for 9 years because she had Dementia/ Alzheimers. I was in a Auto Accident with my Daughter & it was a my worse nightmare, I had to walk with a walker,i had to sit on the steps just to go up 12 steps to go to the bathroom I rehabbed to my Mothers' house to help me and watch her. She was great, always trying to make my struggle easier, but I was proud and needed to do for myself most of the time. I loved her for being her. A nursing home in Bay Shore gave her too much drugs that made her have a stroke, Her Dr there came in only 1 day weekly, the nursing home didn't send her to the ER until 4 days later. She died on Jan 4, 2008. She's my HERO and Angel in Heaven.

The thing that makes me a great caregiver is I'm a very caring and patient person. I'm honest, dependable and very kind hearted. I got into home health a little over a year ago and currently work for two agencies. I've worked with the elderly and the disabled and with a couple of clients with dementia/Alzheimer's. I treat my clients with love the same way I would treat a family member and would hope that someone would treat my family member or myself. I feel sometimes I was destined to care for others because I seem to work in fields where I care for others like childcare.
