Ive been a CNA for 20 yrs, received my license in North Carolina in 2001 and in Virginia in 2009. I believe the most important thing that makes me a great CNAs is patience and understanding. The reason why I became a CNA is I find joy in the elderly. They are knowledgeable, they make you laugh,and you can learn alot from them. I get great joy in seeing the smiles on their faces because they're pleased with me.

I have 3 years experience working as a caregiver. My expertise is that I am told that I am a great Cook. I prepare seasoned regular diets as well as low salt, low cholesterol diets. What attracted me to bring a caregiver is working with seniors one on one. What I enjoy most about being a Caregiver is how surprised my patients are with the food the I prepare for them. I am currently a CNA at Riverside Doctors Hospital but am looking to get into Home Health Care. I have been a CNA for over 2 years now and love every moment of it. I have a lot of patience and enjoy spending time with people. I love being there for someone's love one when they can't be, but they know that they are being well taken care of and watched over.

I have been a care giver on and off since my senior year in high school which totals 34 years. I love being a caregiver and the rewarding benefit of seeing the individuals improve. I am very compassionate and treat everyone like my family. I became a caregiver because of the rewarding feel I get from it. I remember working in a nursing facility and the other attendants couldn't get a gentlemen to eat on his own and before I left i had him eating on his own which made me so happy because he was literally on the verge of getting a feeding tube.

As an empathetic and caring person who has cared for a special needs child, I know what it feels like to want your relative to have the best level of comfort care, and attention possible. I became a care giver because my son was a special needs child. I was personally responsible for grooming him, bathing him, feeding him, soothing him during physiotherapy sessions, administering his medication, taking him to his medical appointments, and making sure he was comfortable. This experience made me understand the difficulties experienced by speial needs individuals, and different ways to alleviate these struggles. I have a Diploma in cargiving, and a certificate in CPR AED And First Aid, both from Alison Online. I also have a certificate in The PSW approach to Quality Care ,from Michener Institute of Education, at UHN. I very observant and meticulous in administering care, while still ensuring that the individual still maintains as much independence as they still have.

I always have been in a Health field do to my love for helping people and also had a disable mom who I take care for a long time wish makes me love to care for other patients even more. I really love to be there and be the suport por this patients, I love to make them smile and make them feel a little more positive about themselves. I love to be their right hand when they need help.
